no you cannot unless you plan on doing all the converting yourself.

That may be true...but a good deal of the mods made for ff1 werent completed, are unaccessible, or were simple conversions *early mod attempts*. Though, FF1 had a greater variety of mods from a great deal of people. But yeah, unless those mods are updated to FFVTTR standards, the only way to enjoy them is to keep ff1 installed.
