Jericho

I'm here again to tell people to get a game tap account. Jericho came out on it and man for a 'free' game it's amazing. Honestly while critics have conspired to give it a low score I much prefer it over doom 3 and plenty other 'demonic' shooters. The games plot goes into that weird 'potpurri' mode that stuff like the matrix or invisibles uses. In other words this game is a product of all fiction, all sci-fi, all anime and all horror.

The team you lead is great, pretty much everyone on it is awesome and the game mechanic (spoiler) is that you are a spirit that jumps around possessing your team mates (with their consent of course). And I love these team mates! Black is a sniper with telekinesis, and you can use said TK to guide your bullets. Church is a ninja with blood magic skills. Delgado is a heavy weapons master with an arm encased in obsidian that houses some sort of aztek fire demon.

Still my favorite is Cole, the 'reality hacker'. She can control time and space besides having some geeky weaponry. Activating the console on her arm she goes into some well done bullet time. Likewise she refills characters ammo by 'rewinding' time within their weapons.

The game does have some flaws. It can be repetitive and lacks a variety of enemies. Also it's quite punishing, including exploding enemies where you have nowhere to run. Also while the AI is ambicious your team mates will be falling all the time due to poor descicions such as rushing head first into clusters of exploding foes.

Still I cannot recomend it enough, especially if you get it as part of your account.
