Female Basic Aura

I'm slowly transferring files from FF1 to FFv3R (since I now have a graphics card that will run the latter, but dosen't like the former), and when I when I converted these, the auras all turned gray. It didn't happen with a male mesh that I have that has an aura (Enforcer, from V&V); did I do something wrong?

is that mine?  if so, it's a hex from a cel based female, that could be why it doesn't convert.

As a matter of fact it is-color hexing by Kommando. Reading his text file it implies that I might be able to hexedit the nif and fix it. Any idea if that is true?
