Fx on both hands

I am looking to find a way to somehow make a start.nif (charge-up) fx apply to both hands of a character at the same time.
Is there someway to do this. I have been playing around with FFedit with commands like Bip01 R Hand/Bip01 L Hand and Bip01 R Hand,Bip01 L Hand but to no avail.

Suggestions?
