i haven't seen the ep, never really watched small ville but i did have to laugh at the face paint,it was just a bad design choice

stopped watching the show a while back, why is Mrs. Kent off the show?

As far as real reasons, I don't know.  As far as in show reasons, she became a U.S. Senator thanks to Lionel's influence after the current state senator was killed as a result of some of the highly unscrupulous stuff he was messing with.

I thought she tool over the prosition that her husbend had won after he died because of Lionel's influence.

i loved the episode. i thought it was fun. you guys are purists i guess lol

If wanting the TV personality to stay true to the comics personality makes me a purist then I'm guilty.

That's how she became a state senator, yes.  Lionel used his influence to promote her to the U.S. Senate when the current Kansas senator died.
