material subtypes in ffx 3.2

I have been trying to figure out how to add material subtypes to characters for use with the absorb material attribute but I cannot figure out where to make these changes. As far as I can tell its somewhere in the characters m25 ai file? All the directions on this subject seem somewhat vague so if anyone could list the detailed process into implementing these subtypes it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Check out the AI Tactics Doc in the FFX Manual. In the first section, AI File Structure, it shows an example m25ai file with all the different sections and it includes the 'subtype' section so you can see how it's suppose to look in the m25ai file.
