Re-installing FFvsTTR

I need some help re-installing FFvsTTR. My AI generator wasn't creating files so I decided to unistall everything (FFvsTTR,FFX 3.2, ATV, etc.) and re-install everything. I backed up all my custom stuff and it's all safe. Now everytime I try and reinstall the game it gets stuck at the data/art during installation and it gives me an error code and asks me to verify file path which is there.  It doesn't go any further in the installation. I even deleted the entire FFvsTTR file and try again and it still doesn't work. Can someone help me before I lose my mind. I've been trying to do this for about four hours now and I'm ready to lose it.

When it errors on the verify filepath, is it referring to the installation directory or the CD drive.
If its the install directory, that sounds like a weird windows issue, if it the CD directory, it may be a corrupted/bad disk.

Couple of standard support questions.

1. After uninstalling did you reboot the machine (if still problems, try powering off completely and starting up cold)
2. Did you check the disk for scratches etc... maybe wipe it down.

CLeaning my disk did it. I can't believe I was so stupid and didn't think of that. Thanks. Now hopefully I can install all the ither stuff like FFX 3.2.2 and all the other goodies without having a problem. Thanks.
