Anyone catch the final episode of Scrubs on NBC? I thought it was a pretty good episode and I liked the little spoof/homage they did of "The Princess Bride". So, did anyone else happen to catch it?

BWPS

Of course, my entire life revolves around the show. Which would be sad if it weren't so great.
I liked it. It was really corny, like a long fantasy sequence. I realize the damn writer's strike is too blame, but I'm really disappointed to see this part-season end with no character development.

I guess this episode was written before the previous few and they saved it as a BS finale, because no explanation was given to Kelso's return.

I'm really really looking forward to a full final season on ABC, and I hope JD AND ELLIOT GET TOGETHER IN THE END SO BAD!

Previsionary

Yes, it was shown out of order. In fact, it premiered in order in other parts of the world. NBC just didn't say that. IIRC, this was originally episode 9 or so.

As someone who has been a fan from the beginning I have an opinion. BWPS you may want to avert your eyes for a few seconds...

This was the worst "series finale" I have seen in recent years.

There was zero character development. Nothing was solved. The direction (by Zack Braff) was pretentious. In the end the story didn't matter at all and the final words were a big downer.

I was happy when I heard that this wasn't the actual series finale. That this wasn't even the intended season finale. NBC pulled a fast one just like the WB tried to pull when Buffy moved to the UPN.

I will tune in to the ABC season. I just hope that they can reign the comedy into a tight little series that will satisfy the viewers.

I thought it was a cute episode but it didn't really seem like a season finale.....which apparently it's not? but the show has gotten depressing to me over time so i'm not entirely sad to see it go. i'll have to get my cartoonic live action slapstick elsewhere.....oh look! a mirror.
