DOD mod help

Hi everyone

i just joined this community and was hoping to get some help.
u see i found a mod for  :ffvstr: called DOD (not sure if u heard of it yet) and i hav some trouble with the grape-man lvl
at the first stg all the drunken civilians and cops are boxes and the worst part is this boxes cant get clicked on and i mus wait for them to att me!! so the AI will respond. I noe this is a little too demandtive(not sure if speeling is correct) but could u tell me what the problem is? THX :thumbup:

If you want help, change the topic so DOD is in it.  That way Lunarman, the mod's creator, will see it, and can help.

Sorry, I've been away for a week, and I'm going away again tomorrow.

As of yet, my mod is not finished, I hoped you liked it so far :) .

Originally the mod was supposed to round off on a cliff-hanger in the base mission, but due to problems close to release there is an unfinished level after that. (I was having difficulty getting the base to play without a mission after it for some reason). So, for now you've played all you can play.

However, I'm am quite close to finishing the next set of levels (which are pretty darn good if I may say so myself). Perhaps there will be a release before the end of the summer, if I get my act together.

So are u telling me that the grape_mistake lvl is it thats such a bummer  :( but other then that the game is really great hope to see the next issue soon  :thumbup: p.s (i juz realized that demandtive is not a word its actually demading) ops   :doh:

I almost forgot aabout that Liberty Bay Mod im having troubles with it u see when i start the first lvl there are no enemies and heros only the civilains but the arrows are pointing to the thugs actually thier more like poiting into thin air. Im not sure if i did anything wrong but could u tell me wat the problem is? MAN im such a noob at this things  :banghead: sign anyway could u tell me wat is wrong help would really be appreciated THX!  :thumbup:

The thugs are all placed on the map, so they should be there.

Do the thugs show up in the opening cutscene, bashing the telephone booth?

No they dont there there are no thugs and the hero dr astounding his not thr either thugs are not theree its like thier invisible there idr astounding is not talking the thugs are talking but thier not thr at all!.Am i doing somthing wrong i hope so. btw im using windows vista does that have anything to do with the situation?

I see no way you could be doing anything wrong.  I've never specifically known of this mod being tried out in Vista, so I don't know if that's an issue or not.

Go to the main FFvTTR fold and find the file named script.log and paste its contents here.  For ease of reading, put it in spoiler tags.

Sry i was away for a few days. err... i noe this may be annoying but whr is the main ffvttr file anyway? Sry im a real noob when it comes to this things. it makes me sad to say so....  :( and also 1 more annoying and dumb question how do u put in spoiler tags?  i feel like doing this  :banghead: when im writing this message. I see no way you could be doing anything wrong.  I've never specifically known of this mod being tried out in Vista, so I don't know if that's an issue or not

worked fine in Vista for me last time I played it, to rule out that problem.

It's inside the Irrational Games folder, which is with Program Files.  The spoiler tag button is right next to the quote button.  It looks like a little cloud with a little blinking word.

i juz hav 1 more question to ask its really really really stupid i was juz wandering wat type of disk are u using cos mine is black and white i tink its an older version... maybe that could be the problem? because i cant seem to find srcipt.log anywhr on the file and i had issues with my com so i had to restart the entire program to the first day..  :(. and i juz installed ffvttr. but havent downloaded libertybay. btw does this script.log file belong to libertybay or ffvttr or DOD cos the i found the file but it was in located at the DOD file.

The script.log won't be there if you haven't used either liberty bay or FFX, which LB uses.

So what you need to do is reinstall, then play until you get to the error, then find the file and copy paste it.   DO NOT PLAY THE GAME AGAIN UNTIL AFTER YOU HAVE COPIED THIS FILE as the file is re-generated every time you play.

i noe problably by now ur head is in flames and most likely ur not gonna answer this question but.. wat is the most suitable program to use to extract the libertybay files to the ffvttr file i kept using Win.rar and it doesnt work i tried Win.zip but nth happened and i dont noe any other programs that can help.... (if no1 wants to reply to this message ill understand.)

I believe its compressed in the 7zip format.

Googles is correct.  It is in the 7-zip format, so you'll need either 7-zip itself (which is free) or something compatible, like PowerArchiver (which is not)

No, it's integrated with LB, but it's worth installing and playing anyways.

i still cant find that file called script.log...... very sad  :( :( i tink i should juz forget the game and get on with life after all LB is not the only mod.
