RSS Feed question and my new blog

I need some help with a few things.  My blog is at http://blog.garyhamrick.com which is now a part of my site which is http://www.garyhamrick.com.  Go check it out and please subscribe at http://feeds.feedburner. com/Boxcar39 is the RSS feed to it and tell your friends to subscribe. 

I know you need to use either a web browser (safari and firefox can both subscribe to it), or use an RSS reader app.  Facebook probably has an app that can do it.  and there are a lot of RSS reader apps out there, google it. 

Ok, this is what I do not know.  Do I need to be giving people the blog address or the RSS feed address to get them to subscribe?  I am a bit confused how RSS subscription stuff is suppose to work.  To make matter worse, my webmaster doesn't know a whole lot about them either.

Usually, you simply advertise the website itself. Those who use RSS will see that your site has a feed. Having it on Feedburner should improve your search engine ranking.

actually, Feedburner was what I was having the issue with but I think I got it fixed. 

There should be an RSS subscribe thing up there if anyone is interested.
