Is there an FX akin to the strobe lights in clubs? I'm renovating Top hat and if anyone would like to suggest some suitable clubbing FX that'd be brilliant. Thanks. Hmm, as a side note(yes I'm rather prone to this) i wonder if it's possible to make all the clubbers dance via EZscript.
Cheers!

Nothing even remotely similarly? Am I posting in the right forums or is this one meant solely for PowerFxs?

I need flashy lights people!

I'd attach one of the direct fxs with the tgs changes for a possible strobe effect. I'm not sure which one it is but it has rays of light that strobe. It's gold and I think it is one of Law's.

Spotlights fixed in position overhead pointing down (flipped upside down) will simulate moving spotlights on a dance floor.

Good idea Dana, though I had strobe lights more in mind, like really ferocious flashes that make everthing seem to be in slow motion ala night clubs. Afghan thanks is Law on the forums? FXforce hasn't a search function and can't even be site searched(flash or something) so it's nearly impossible to just look for a mesh. I'd also need to ask him how to increase the size and frequency of the thing  So I've never done this before, do I just place a marker then replace it with the Fx from Resources?
Cheers.

All of Law's FXs come with the game. I'm not sure what the fxs is called but you could either attach it to a spotlight like Dana suggested and it would be a strobing light effect on a model. Just search through your in-game fxs and you'll see something you could use.

Do you happen to know how to "attach" FXs? Every FX I've seen on a map has been an "effect_all" yet in-game the effects are different!

I'm not sure what you mean by attach mesh. I was thinking you could skope the fx on a model that you are using for the map.
