Hey guys,
Some of my friends, my brother and some acquaintances participate in what I call creative challenges. Each Friday I send a short email with criteria for those involved to design, draw, write about and create a character or concept. Its a small activity that gets everyone thinking and making, something many people don't have time for anymore, sadly.
We have gotten some great results, and I'd like to share them among the half dozen or so people that are involved, instead of only me seeing everyone's work. I would like to set up a small forum that we could all log in to and add our work. Is there any software people would recommend for this?
I don't need a whole bunch of bells and whistles, only a few people will see it anyway, I just like the organised format of a forum.

It would probably be easier to just create a private Yahoo group or a Google group instead of managing a full-on forum, especially if it's only for a half-dozen people. You won't have to worry about doing any real maintenance, and most of the features you need in a forum format are already inherently supported and set up for you (private messaging, chat support, e-mail routing, image hosting, etc.).

Google Documents,  Hands down easiest and fastest way to share files like that.

Mr. Hamrick

i have the same questions about software for setting up a forum and system requirements since I use a mac and not a pc.

though for different purposes.

SMF (the forum software FR uses) takes less than an hour to set up.

Thanks for the replies guys, I'll take the various ideas under consideration. Much appreciated.
