Nifty nifscope ideas or meshes if possible (been ages since I made requests)

Beak: you know, that tomar-re by ink already sports a good beak. Either transplant it or knock off the other extras and get this guy a bat (a few meshes have them) and then whatever else you want (like a jacket from a mesh or "armpit webs" from a mesh that can have feathers skinned on them) and we x-men and exiles completists will have something fun to skin.

Kingpin: Podmark (if memory serves me right) did a great hex of this guy but it acted weird in the rumble room. A proper bulky and wide kingpin (as oposed to plain fat) would look great.

Female heavy and hulking: just saying I've had some cool character ideas and it would help flesh out some of the brawnier female villains such as anaconda.

Female with Cargo Pants: put some boxes on wide pants and quite a few interesting characters will come to life such as surge.

Podmark

That Kingpin was by Afghan Ant actually.

I've thought about doing beak in the past (yeah I'm a Exiles fan) but I doubt I'll ever get to it. I haven't actually had much skinning drive lately.

I have an unreleased Surge mesh I'm doing the standard for and it has some nice cargo pants. However I've got no clue when it will ever see the light of day...

2 meshes with cargo pants unreleased it seems, I have a Puck (Zuzha Yu not Eugene)) in the works, tho the pants are prolly a lil lower cut than the Surge mesh Podmark has i'd imagine
(tho technically puck dousnt have the pockets, i'll add them as hexables anyway)

detourne_me

i'll do beak. could you send me INK's Kentics mesh from the XDR mod?

and about the kingpin.  AA did the great skin for the tommyboy mesh, I actually did the male_suit_V2 hex and so-so skin.   i did kinda revisit the hex with nifskope,  but i like the tommyboy mesh....      i'll go back to the hex though since theres some interest in it.

I have no appreciation for things being hard or easy but any chance you could alpha the pant legs? If its difficult then just skip it.

(Yes! I was thinking of detourne_me's hex! that was great!)

Heh, believe it or not it's ALOT easier to make something alpha enabled with nifskopethan it is in max AND it'll work with all graphics cards ;)

[edit] clarification, some graphics cards wont display alphas properly in FF1, like my nvidia Ge Force, BUT alpha hexing in nifskope I can use alphas in FF1 again :)

Podmark

Nifskope can create alphas? Man that program never ceases to amaze me.

Quote from: white knightIn NifSkope, open the object that you want add the Alpha property to.  Right click on NiTriShape, then Node, then Attach Property, then NiAlphaProperty.  A NiAlphaProperty will appear under NiTriShape.  Right click on NiAlphaProperty, then Flags.  In the box that opens make sure;

Enable Blending is checked
Source Blend Mode=Src Alpha
Destination Blend Mode=Inv Src Alpha
Enable Testing is checked
Alpha Test Function=Greater
Alpha Test Threshold=125
Sort Triangles is not checked

(other values will work, this is what I've been using)

Save the mesh, and that should be it.  Hope this helps.

works like a charm ^_^
