Howdy, I'm just curious if any of the people who worked on the DCU mod team are still part of the forums.  I am working on something, and I'd like to use the strings.txt descriptions for some of their characters.  I wouldn't want to do that without their say-so, so if any of y'all are around, I'm officially asking permission.  I'm not talking about using ANYTHING else from your mod, just the text descritions, and not all of those.

the only person i recall who had an active part in making that mod is dannyboy and he was never a big poster on fr from what I recall.

Anyway, I wouldn't think anyone would mind if you used their descriptions for your personal use, but I guess you could try emailing danny.

Slightly on-topic: were there ever any patches that came out for that mod?  I got to a certain point and stopped because suddenly any save I made in mid-mission (of a particular mission....I didn't get any farther) would only save three of the four heroes on the team.  I don't know about anyone else, but I had to make extensive use of mid-mission saves on that mod.....especially the Batcave mission.

You mean the one where one character froze and wouldn't obey orders anymore if you loaded?

Yeah, happened to me too, but I'm pretty sure it was an engine problem.

Happened to me too, but I just kept playing.  I'm glad I did, EXCELLENT mod.  Anyroad, does anyone have Dannyboy's email?  If so, please PM me.
