Okay, After almost a weeks worth of running around like a chicken with my head cut off... much less flopping around like one with it's legs also cut off with the knife-like pain in my side - I'm finally well again.

It would figure that my wife finally gets to remove her arm brace after her whole ordeal and we end up back in the Emergency Room with me wishing I had pain killers to just put me out of my misery.

I know that Kidney Stone stuff is  :tmi  for most folks so I'll just say that I really have an understanding of my wife giving birth now.

And many thousand pardons for not posting about my situation and why I stopped being so active until this morning. And I get to spend the rest of the afternoon today going in for tests and junk.. but the good news is that I got an early birthday check so I'm going to hunt down my Nintendo Wii today ( <_< Okay, no bad jokes on this coincidence of events.  ) Gotta make this whole week worth suffering through...  :P

Hey CQ, man, it seems like you're having one heck of a month!  Well, it seems that you and your wife are both back on your feet, so here's hoping that it's all up from here!  Ohh, and no worries about not being active, we all have RL issues from time to time, we're just glad you get to come back to us.  I'll see you in the sound's forum when you get there ;)

I fear kidney stones so I've started doing the cleansing thing.  It just takes a few days of Apple Juice and distilled water...and a cup of cooking oil and those stones come right out after a good nights sleep....they're softened up so you don't feel a thing.

Cooking oil?  A cup of cooking oil makes a decent stool softener if you're having that problem, but it honestly has NO bearing on the function of your kidneys.  Not to mention containing nearly 2,000 calories.  Ample fluids are good, though.

And sorry about the stone, CQ.  I've managed to avoid that little slice of life, but I had patients with them and they're misrable.

I suppose the calorie count is why you eat nothing for a few days.  Also distilled water takes all the toxins out of your system and apple juice loosens you up (kinda like prune juice).  It works....believe me.  It cleanses liver and kidneys.  I can post a link to a website if necessary.
