Fanfiction questions.

Not sure whether this goes here or in the Requests thread, so I'll put it here and hope that I'm eithor right or that the mods won't kill me.

Basically, I'm putting together a webcomic, the first few chapters of which will be based in the FR world, or rather, my interpretation of it. And while I can, for the most part, find a majority of the information, the fact that a large portion of the forums are currently gone makes certain things a bit difficult. So, rather then bluntly making stuff up, I thought I'd ask you guys. For right now, I'll broaden it to the two most major ones, and add in more pesky details later.

First, I basically need a sort of JLA/Avengers "Best Superheroes EVAR!" type of team, the type of superhero group that everyone wants to join and whatever. Mostly I'm considering the Gamma Patrol or Electric Freedom, even though both are now down. Any other suggestions, even of teams that nobody really remembers that hasn't been here for 2+years, would be welcome as well. Whatever I decide on though, I'm going to need permission for, so contact info would be helpful.

The second point is more just on the general opinion of people. I'm planning on having a much later section of the thing dealing with the whole Villains Reborn thing, and I have some ideas about making up a history behind it... IE: Randy trying to take over before, almost winning, and EF having a big last stand thing that saved the universe, which is celebrated as "Freedom Reborn Day". Thus the whole thing about them being reborn.

I know, I'm pulling stuff out of thin air, but that's why I'm asking.

Well, you're more than welcome to use Reepicheep as a villain if you need one. Theres a fair bit of info of myself and many characters on the FR wiki.

Many forum superhero teams are down now, with very little information remaining - you'll need to speak to someone who knows more than me to get the full roster of Electric Freedom - theres only three out of about twenty listed on the wiki. We'll be needing to reconstruct that sort of thing. Why don't you try assembling a team of mixed-ablitied heroes to use? (with their permission, of course)

That said, you might get some mileage out of CRUSH, NPI or FX Force, which have some members dotted around the place.

Actually, if the team in question was to win such a climactic battle, perhaps that is why they're no longer around?  They all were killed in a heroic last stand?  For a disbanded team with a few surviving members, they split up as a matter of course and are still haunted by the deaths of their allies.

Actually, that might be a good idea... It'd fit as far as chronological timing with Electric Freedom's site going down, then I could use Gamma Patrol at the start. I'll probably disband them later, probably with whatever VR tie-in I end up doing, but I need that JLA formula for what I'm doing to start it off.

But yeah, I considered NPI or FX Force, but they just seemed a bit too... dark, I guess. Not really bad dark, but more the "yeah, perfection isn't required" kinda thing.
