Moderators:  If this post better belongs in another folder, please feel free to move it.  I only ask that you notify me of where it went if you do so.  Thanks!!

The following is a sketch that I did (humble as it is!) of my avatar character.  Carravaggio has graciously agreed to skin 'im.  But I am posting the image here as a kind of back up and also to get your advice as to:
1.  what mesh might best be used and 2.  Any skinning advice you might have.

A few notes:

1.  The predominant colors are red and gold.  I couldn't find a true "gold" color in my kids' marking pens (it was either that or crayons...LOL) so yellow had to suffice.  The gold color is actually a tad darker than actual yellow (see the gold color in my current avatar...re: helmet).  The lightning'ish symbol on Doc's chest I'm thinking should have the outline in bright yellow with the inner part gold or a shade darker yellow.

2.  I drew the belt nodules to have light indicators that I just thought might look cool if they each had indicator lights that glowed a bright blue.  Again, I didn't have bright blue markers.  So, the lights turned out quite a bit darker than I wanted.

3.  I envision Doc's eyes burning with slight voltage (think Wonder Man except with bright blue coloring not red).  If this is hard to do, you could just have his eyes glow bright blue instead of having energy pour forth from them(which would encompass the entire eye, not just the iris).

4.  I  drew voltage auras pouring forth from his hands.  No need to do this in the skin.  I just thought it looked cool for the portrait.

5.  As an afterthought, I'm thinking Doc's hands should be covered by gold covered gloves as well.

Well, thanks for the input...and we now return you to your regulary schedule programming!
