Just one last request for awhile.  Came across the Metal Storm Mod (which I think is admin'ed by Wickerman):  http://www.freewebs.com/wickermanim/index.htm

Reading through it, I have to say that I really like the adversarial group "The 4th Reich): 



Any how, I was wondering if there is any chance to get any of these mesh/skin files released for general downloading?  I would love to add them to my Danger Room menagerie. I guess if I had to pick priorities it would be the walkers, then chain gunners, then grunts, then troopers, then assassins.  But they are all way cool:  http://www.freewebs.com/wickermanim/villianstrategy.htm

Carravaggio did the skins (and I don't know who did the meshes).  So, I'm not sure who to request this from.  Perhaps both?

Master Caravaggio did indeed do all of the skins for my mod (and continues to do so actually - we aren't dead I promise!!)  there are actually far more R4 skins than those pictured as well...  All of the meshes are listed on the credits page as far as the authors if you want to hunt them down.  As for releasing them, let me talk with him.  It's a little tricky as we worked on the mod proper as a joint project so i wouldn't want to give permission to use something that is - in fairness - only 50% mine.

Wickerman and i have talked, we both agree that the skins will not be officially allowed for seperate download. the point of them was to be the villains if the mod, and if people want the 4th reich, then we'd prefer them to download and play the mod that they were intended for, its a fantastic mod and people will be doing themselves a disservice by onlt ripping the skins out of it.
For those of you who want their militaristic, rank and file enemy fix, just wait a bit, i'll be filling that niche shortly...
Please respect this decision and don't exchange these skins behind our backs. Thank you.

Dude!  No hard feelings at all.  I absolutely understand!  How could I not?  After all, Y'all are creators of the mod...and those characters.  They belong to you.  They are your property.   If you are willing to share...it's our priveledge...and not a right.  It's your call...and you know what's best.  Thanks for the response!

I'm amazed at how willing people here are to share...and how giving they are.  My proverbial hat is off to you!

Yeah, I thought about that after the fact.  Sorry guys.  Anyway, you will enjoy the Mod.  It's difficult, but not impossible, and a heckuva lot of fun!

Reminder to self:  Just because it was shared with me, does not give me the right to share it without bounds. 
Thanks again for all your hard work guys, I really have enjoyed both  :ff: and  :ffvstr: much more due to your contributions.
