While I haven't posted in a while, I'm still fiddling with skinning.  Below is a skin of a minor late golden/early silver age villain Moon-Man, requested by Green Hornet.  Comments and criticism are welcome.

Bear in mind it is a work in progress. Here's my progress thus far:

I'm still tweaking the skin and the mesh pieces. As you can see the belt needs to be adjusted, and the trunks need some work.  Here's a close up with highlights added to the skin.

This looks pretty good. I'd say the highlights are a bit too solid though. Blur them up a bit more.

Some of your lines have a bit of jag too. The orange straps look fine, and where the yellow armbands meet skin, but where they meet green costume isn't so good. You could straighten that out with a simple use of the line too, really. Should cover it up well enough. Also a little shadow where mask meets face.

Now, depending on what you want the logo to look like you can do a few things. I'd say just give it some shadow underneath. I'd probably also give the top half a light outline and the bottom a dark, and maybe add a bit of gradient over it. I don't know if I'm explaining this well. Hopefully it's some sort of help though. This applies to the cresent on the head, also.

Thanks U-man for taking the time.

The logo is actually a mesh piece, though its hard to tell from the pics, but I can put a gradient on it.

I've played with the highlights as you suggested and it already looks better.  Working on the trunks and bracers.

Thanks again.
