There is a conflict between the mod and FFX.

You must disable FFX for the duration of the mod.  I can't remember right off how, but if the official site is still up, it has the instructions on it.

Nope. The site isnt up anymore.

Jeez, I forgot abot the FFX thing. Welp, Im an idiot. I dont even know how I would go about disabling FFX.

There are a couple of folder in the mod folder, one labled ffx and the other something else.  It's a matter of moving the items from the non-ffx folder and erasing over the data folder's equivilants.

here's the instructions from the site, just for reference:

Quote from: shadoeswordFFX is a terrific add-on of features for the original game of Freedom Force by Dr. Mike.

But in order to do all the cool stuff it does, it changes some of the files in the original game. This can cause a conflict with The Great Hunt. Beta testers found that with FFX installed, the later missions of TGH have no cutscenes or objectives.

A simple fix for this requires you to manually change the name of two folders.

After you have installed The Great Hunt, open up the following directory:

C:/Program Files/Irrational Games/Freedom Force/data/missions:

You should locate two folders in the directory, one named scripts_GH, and one named simply scripts. First change the name of the scripts folder to scripts_ffx, then change the scripts_GH folder to simply scripts.

The Great Hunt should now run smoothly. When you're ready to play FFX again, all you have to do is to change the folders names back.
