Skoping Heads

At the moment I'm trying to make a head nif for my mod. It's a pirate head and it needs to match male basic pirate, e.g have a tricorn hat and dreadlocks. I thought it would be no problem nand so skoped this head copying pieces from male pirate to the thug2 head (for thr chunkier look). Here's what I did:

The problem is, this head doesn't work in-game. I've experimented a bit and found that whenever I copy pieces onto the thug2 head I get an error in-game saying there is no camera. I don't know why this is as there a node in nifskope called Camera_left. Originally I tried copying pieces onto Tomhead but the nif versions differed. I converted tomhead and pasted the bits on but I still got an error about no camera. The versions of male_basic_pirate and thug_2 (from FFVTTR) are the same so I thought it would work but I got the same error.

Has anyone got any ideas as to why this might be happening and/or how to solve it.

Otherwise I might be forced to reskin Minuteman's head and I really don't want to as he's got a mask meshed on his face.

Thankyou

Lunarman

P.s. Tommyboy, if you read this thread and no one suggests any solutions would you perhaps consider adding the tricorn hat and dreadlocks from Male basic pirate to your versitile head? I can send you the mesh if you want.

I've got plenty on my plate for the foreseeable future I'm afraid, so I wouldnt be able to do this for quite a while.
Volsung has made even better heads than mine for FFV3r, maybe he could help out.
If you have no luck, remind me in a few weeks.

I'd check the camera and whatnot, make sure it's attached or whatever to the new pieces... like how you need to change what pieces are affacted by the omni light regardless of whether they had refl lays before you copied them over.

send it to majingotenks@graffiti.net, I might be able to fiddle with it.

Symon

I had a look at that wretched camera problem some months back... and bounced. I'd love to know the solution.

Yes I just ran into this problem myself.
I can't see any reason for it, I even copied across the camera nodes from a working to a non-working head without success.
And I can't see any differences between the working and non working ones...
