Niskope Problem- Help Please!

This is kinda weird, but the hierarchy list of nodes and parts of a mesh have suddenly changed. Now almost all the of the hierarchy branches just say nifnode. I cannot tell which piece im moving to where so im wondering if theres a button i can click to change the hierarchy list back. Im sorry if this is vague, but its an odd problem. Any help would be appreciated.
