FFX State Swap

I recently downloaded FFX and I attempted to use a couple of state swaps, namely
energising for grapple
hypnosis for taunt
powernull for weaken.

But, when I tried to use them in the rumble room, none of them worked (they all did what they would normally do).

Welcome to the forums, Marxman.

There can be different reasons. We'll need a bit more info... which version of FFX was this (I take it it's FFX 3.3 for FFvsTTR)? Did FFX character attributes work? Are these powers direct or area powers? Any error in your c:\program files\irrational games\freedom force vs the 3rd reich\script.log?

And are they hero files, or built-ins?

They are hero files, its FFX 3.3, Yes the character attributes work, No they aren't, and no there isn't a log file.

If there is no log file, you're probably not starting the game from the FFX 3 shortcut. Using the shortcut should generate ff.log and script.log in your main folder. The latter file is going to be pretty much necessary to understand what happens. Thanks.
