Help! Looking for a way to absorb various energy attacks.....

Hey guys, looking for a way to make a character who can absorb various energy attacks, (i.e. fire, energy x, electricity....) to fuel his EP. I would use the FFX attribute, but I don't want the nasty side effect of slowly euthanising my teammates....(Although, at times, it does make me laugh at the game's AI.....I mean, get away from the guy, he's killing you!)

Any Ideas? I was thinking passive defense power, but it seems not to transfer to energy points....

an ABSORB passive defense should indeed add the absorbed energy to you energy bar..


do you have all of the flags set properly?

Yeah, I think so.....he just doesn't seem to do it.
