Found this build on SuckerPunch's Build Planner. I've been interested in putting together a PB so any feedback on this would be appreciated.

Em,

Are you not interested in any of the forms (nova, dwarf)? This human-only build is going to deny you some of the options that forms can provide.  I'm no pro, having got my PB only to 6, but you might want to consider using nova or dwarf.  This guide (if you haven't read it already) is really informative.

Therein lies my inexperience. I know nothing of Nova or Dwarf.

I'll track down another build. :)

Ooookay, here we go.

Human-form is ultimately the most powerful of the three forms. However, it takes a significant investment of powers and slots to get it up and running to its full potential. Squid form is blastier than the human can ever be, and Dwarf form is tankier, but their main benefit is the fact that they work out of the box. You take Nova, and you get five powers-- the Nova toggle, and four attacks to use in that form. Picking it up at 6 gives you an instant weapons platform, letting you "coast" on that minimal investment while you slowly bulk up on your human powers.

What I did with my Warshade, and what I think a lot of people do, it to plan your build around a respec in the mid to late 20s. In your initial build, take Nova and slot up the attacks. Make yourself into a mean little turret. Then, around 24+, respec with a more human-centric build, pulling slots out of your squid attacks and putting them into their human equivalents.

There's a lot more I can go into if you're interested, but I think that's the most important bit.

GhostMachine

One advantage to Dwarf form is that you have incredible resistance to status effects; I've never been held, immobilized or put to sleep while in Dwarf form. However, you're still vulnerable to things like slow and endurance drain - and Dwarf form uses endurance, so you can potentially be drained back to Human form.

I won't say much about Nova form, as I don't really care for it. I dumped it on my PB when I respecced around lvl 25 or so and don't miss it, and my Warshade is only keeping it so he can fly. (Warshades get Teleport as their travel power and can't take the Flight pool, apparently) Nova form has fairly powerful blasts and I believe a built-in accuracy bonus. The two problems with it are that you're always flying so its a bit tricky to master when using it indoors and its not only squishier than a Blaster but seems to have built-in aggro.

Human-form, I only have three recommendations:

1. Get Solar Flare instead of Conserve Energy. Unless you're in an extremely dangerous situation where you're likely gonna die or you just plain don't like to carry blues, you shouldn't need it. Solar Flare, on the other hand, is a bread and butter power if you like to do melee on your PB and even if you don't it comes in handy for those times when you'll find yourself being surrounded by several enemies. Its more or less the same thing as the Foot Stomp power from the Super Strength Tanker powerset and sends enemies flying. Funny thing is, the Human form version of the power is more powerful than the Dwarf form version of the power.....

2. Consider skipping the Speed pool. Its not really needed on a Peacebringer as most of the abilities recycle fairly fast, and PB Fly starts out pretty darn fast to begin with so you won't need Super Speed as a travel power.

3. By the time you take those last four powers you've got listed, you really won't need them that much. I'd definitely suggest getting Restore Essence as soon as you can take it (lvl 35).

Not going to recommend taking it, but you should take a look at Glowing Touch - Fast recharge, doesn't cost much endurance, and can help a lot when you're grouping and there's not enough healing going around. I've used it quite often, and it does help.

One thing you should keep in mind: the two melee Strike attacks (Incandescent and Radiant) are pretty awesome for taking down those irritating Quantums and Void Seekers when you're in human form, so you might want to build those up asap when you get them.

MJB

Here's a build I cobbled together from a friends suggestions and some stuff I read online. This build is geared toward a lvl 24-27 respec. I stopped at lvl 22 because I didn't want to get to far in it just in case I missed something.

I'm sure the slotting is screwed up but I'm still new at this. I would really appreciate it if anyone would give me some slotting suggestions.

That build should do you good if you plan on not taking Dwarf form or waiting until 22 to get it, except I'd suggest only putting 1 fly enhancer in Bright Nova and putting that second fly enhancer in Energy Flight instead; you don't really need the extra speed while flying in a mission in Nova form, and you shouldn't fly around in Nova form outside of missions anyway. Otherwise, the build is good.

If you do take Dwarf form at some point, slot it with 2 dmg resists and 1 end modification than focus on getting a few slots in the attacks before adding any more slots to the form; you won't really need to worry about end modification in it right off the bat because you'll mostly be using the form for the dmg and status resists until you can get a few more slots in the Dwarf form attacks.

ThePrelate

I'm currently level 18 on my PB, and have really liked the Nova form thus far.

I've only spent 4 slots on my nova powers, so if/when I respec out of Nova, I will only be putting 4 slots back

So far the only extra pool I've bought into is health (health/stam ftw!).

I have a freespec sitting on the account (a few actually), so respeccing isn't an issue when I'm ready to do so.

does anyone have any numbers, readily available, to show how human form only is more powreful than dual/tri form PB?
