Removing the Rider from the Bike

Hey guys, I'm just working on a little something for the DCU mod, and I need a little help.  Does anyone know how to take the bike from one of Tommy's meshes (a skope of Batman_bike_tv) and make it just a simple object.  In otherwords, seperate it from everything else?
