New idea for Masterminds....

Got this idea while seeing Jeff Dunham at the local comedy club last night...

Mastermind... terrorist pets.

Don't have everything on it worked out yet... but definately... suicide bomber minions.
Maybe for the standard powers... an automatic uzi or something.  Definately sometype of bomb.

But... the real draw... the pets. 

The first wave guys are just some regular terrorists... standard guns, etc.
Second wave... molotov cocktails, grenades, etc.

Third wave...

You click the button...

Terrorist appears...

You have 10 seconds to get him somewhere...

Into the crowd of heroes you send him running.... he lets out his mighty scream...

...   BOOM!

They'll never do it. They took out Nazis, they'll never add terrorists.

Far too much potential for negative character stereotyping.

You already have all that if you go Thugs/Traps. Traps has that detonator power that is essentially a suicide bomber attack. Sure they don't look like terrorists, but it's better to err on the side of discretion nowadays.

I still want a suicidal minion that explodes.

Damnit... if the Circle of Thorns have mages that do it... and Vahz that do it.... I want a Mastermind that has a pet that does it too.

they'd have to make it some kind of robot..

it would cause a huge problem if they tried to implement a terrorist MM pet. it would be all kinds of negative attention.

ANYWAY - the idea is interesting, but it would have to be some kind of new robotic pet, a "drone" maybe.

What I think would be cool is to implement a new insect MM. or an Alienist that teleports in aliens.

Don't be so sure. Check out the Community Digest for the last couple days, 90% of it is Lighthouse and Ex
Libris moderating Hetero Proms and prayer service announcements.

Ya'll look up the Detonator power from the Traps secondary, because that more or less does what Cloak was talking about. However, I've heard its not even worth bothering with so I skipped it on Colonel Stryker.
