While we have all been talking about reality shows lately (including the 2nd season of Stan Lee's Superhero show)... FOX Television has something up their sleave for Halloween 2007.

WHO WANTS TO BE THE NEXT ELVIRA?

Yes, You heard me right... The original Elvira is looking for her own Gothic Apprentice for taking on her future projects as hostess and handmaiden. I've known so many people online in my life that wanted the chance to be the next Elvira (or ar least a horrorshow host or scream queen) but never seemed to persue the idea because they felt that nobody would want to steal the original's thunder.

I'm pretty excited about it since I've known for awhile that Cassandra Peterson has wanted to persue a more behind-the-scenes producer/writer role and allow a newer "modern" face to step forward for the new millenium as the next Mistress Of The Dark.

...Cassandra Peterson.  Incredible as Elvira and if you can believe it... even more beautiful without all the makeup, wig and stuff.

...Should be interesting.  I'll be looking forward to it.

...Dita Von Teese is smoking hot... I mean smoking hot.  I'd much rather see her keep doing her own thing instead of beign sidetracked as the next Elvira.  I'll never understand what she saw in Manson, but... shrugs.  Heh, reminds me of some great Manson stories I could tell while he just was starting down here in SouthFla.
