FR invited to BoW's Anniversary events this weekend

The Babe's 3 year anniversary is this Saturday, July 28th.  Yes, I know this is a super late invitation.  Trust me, it was unintentional.  We love you guys and the goal was not to catch you late so you wouldn't show, I promise.  It just happened that real life bit the anniversary planner in the arse several times  :( and a few officers came up with some last minute events.  Nothing is public and there is no announcement.  We will probably do something within the month, so we will let you guys know as soon as we do - so you can come and win 80% of everything again! ^_^

But anyway, here is our list of events.  It's just for Babes and any FR peeps who want to participate in any of the events.  Mostly it's just teaming and a few games - our focus is just on teaming and renewing friendships this weekend.  There are no prizes for anything, just the knowledge in your heart that you were better than everyone else.  :lol: We will do the whole "BABES OF WAR TURN 3 - WE ROCK!" thing at another time.

If anyone is going to be online and wants to play with us this weekend, you are more than welcome!

Friday:

8pm: Stinky Sewer Run followed by Lemming Run in Croatoa.  Rules to follow.

Saturday:

Noon: low level teams, H or V.

2pm: Shivan run.  PvP in BB or Sirens if desired.

4pm: Villain meet and greet. Show off your fav villains!  Plan is currently just to chat, dance and get to know everyone's villains in Sharkshead at the Monkey fight club.  Miss N wants us to gamble as well.  :thumbup:

6pm: Break for food or rest.

8pm: 3 Year Anniversary meeting.  Note to FR: This is a semi-serious, mostly speech filled event.  I am pretty sure that you would want to pull your hair out... :banghead: ....who wants to hear some other SG name off their old members and talk about how great they are?   We can let you know when we're done if you want to take part in Simon Says. :)

Simon Says after meeting.  This is a fun way to end a serious occasion.

After Simon Says:  If anyone is still on and not tired, as this usually takes a few hours hours, we can adjourn to RWZ or do world events.  We can also do world events as they happen during the day if we so wish.  Though it should be noted that these will cause incredible lag.


Sunday:

2-4pm: Arena Beat & Greet.  Ghostie's 1v1 hero versus villain arena event. Also, we can do pentads, teams of 5 with 1 of each AT, if you guys want.

5pm: Break for rest or food.

7pm: Badge run for exploration badges in RWZ.

8pm: RWZ teaming, possible high level SF or STF if desired, or Lady Grey TF and world events.

Stinky Sewer Run - Radical Nova's idea

Bring your best toon and we will race from the AP sewer to the Steel sewer.  First one there wins!  Use any tactics you want!  Use any level you want! Cheat, lie, steal!  There is no prize other than the knowledge that you are better than everyone!

The Sewer Sprint is a no holds barred, all out race from the AP sewer entrance to the Steel Canyon sewer exit. There is no set level range for the race, although the sewers have enemies that range from level 6-15 so levels 18 or higher is recommended. Also, travel powers will be allowed for this event so a higher level character would be beneficial.

The rules are pretty simple. Stay in the sewer but get to the exit as fast as possible by any means necessary. All of your powers are allowed to be used; blocking doorways with Shivans not only is allowed, it's encouraged. It's a race in a sewer; things will get a little dirty!

All runners will be on one team with two race officials. One official will stand at each entrance to insure that no one leaves the sewer. Officials may also be asked to give a running commentary (lol, no pun intended) of the race. If we have more than 6 people who want to run, we will have a second heat follow the first and then afterwards the top 3 from each race will compete in the finals.

EDIT: You can use your own dirty tricks.  But you can't get TP'd to the end.  You have to do it all yourself.  Bring a 50, throw up pets, use SS when some other mook only has fly, but no getting a TP to the end!




Lemming Run in Croatoa

You must bring a lvl 1 toon or your lowest toon and be ex'd down to lvl 1. There is a track in Croatoa that you will run.  You may not use any travel powers, including no sprint!  You may not use inspirations!  You must not stop!

We will line you up at the beginning of the course, and then when the starter says GO! you hit the R button and try to get as far as you thru the course, avoiding the foes.  You will be disqualified if you use sprint, any travel power, any inspiration or stop at any time.  Learn how to run around a lightpole - it's handy!

Stay dead and down on the ground until a winner is announced.  Don't rez or go to the hospital until we say!  It's funny to see all the dead bodies and we have to take piccies!
