the  "Force 98" and other skins, when i download and unzip is only skins, but skins for what meshes? =/

For future reference:

1) All of C6's skins (and most of the others) have a "readme" or some other text file.  This will tell you which mesh to use and where it's located.  If the link is dead, check the master mesh list on wiki site or in the mesh thread here.

2) If you still can't find the exact mesh, you might be able to find something similar at New Power Inc Meshworks (http://www.newpowerinc.com/meshworks/index.htm).  Try one of Vertex's "male generic" meshes.

3) If you still can't find it, and have nifskope, you can use a Tom Versatile and create the mesh yourself (http://tommyboymeshes.freedomforceforever.com/index.html).

There's also a search function on this forum which might have pointed you to a thread in the mesh forums or the promotions forums with a spiffy link to that mesh. Just an FYI.

It took me approximately 60 seconds to get this character working in CTool.


1. Follow the link that I posted.  If you need to register with Yahoo to get access to Yahoo Groups, do so first. 
2. Join the Grenadiermeshes5 Yahoo Group.
3. After joining, click on the link named "Files" on the left side of the Yahoo Group page.
4. Click on "Batroc_Gren.zip."
5. Unzip the "Batroc_Gren.zip" file to "YOURHARDDRIVE:\Program Files\Irrational Games\Freedom Force\data\art\library\characters"
6. Create a new subfolder inside the "Batroc_Gren\skins" subfolder named "Force98"
7. Place the C6 skin files that you downloaded from Alex's Freedom Fortress in the new subfolder.
8. Open the character in CTool to make certain you have done everthying correctly.  The CTool will default to the "standard" skin, which is Batroc, but you should be able to select "force98" from the list of characters in the upper left window of CTool.
