Howdy guys, I've been fighting it for a long, long time now, but I think I've just about made up my mind to get into Clix.  I was just wondering if anyone on the forums was still looking to sell what they have, what's available, and if anyone had any advice on how to go about getting started.  I'm buying a batch of clix on Ebay at the moment, so I'm particularly interested in getting the rulebook, maps, and such that I won't have.  Thanks guys!

Wow, I'm surprised at the lack of response to this.  I thought there were still several heroclix players in the community.  Ahh well, I'm buying some stuff off of Ebay , we'll see how it ends up.

I have my clix still but not much people to play against, so they have been boxed for months now. Yeah, e-bay is the best source I can think of myself...

I offloaded most of my stuff a couple of years ago when Gdayboy was born. At the time I could no longer commit to running the tournaments at the FLGS.

Now I play VS, thought I still have a bunch of my Clix customs and a handful of LEs/Us leftover from older sets.

From all reports, the game's a different animal now to what it was back then.

Verfall

I've been trying to offload my collection for awhile now. I assume by now all of them have been retired from tourneys.
PM if you're interested BG, I've got a large helping of Marvel, a wee bit of DC and most of the original Indyclix. I think the newest set I purchased from was Mutant Mayhem.

I've got my customs... the rest I sent to Yuan a year or so ago.

I watched a game with the "new rules" yesterday, it was confusing. :(

Thanks for the responses guys!  I've got a friend up here that is going to start playing with me, so we're not too worried about the niceties of tournament play or anything.  I've got most of what I need now, and I've even contacted the fellows at Totaltoyz to get me an Ocean Master custom!

BlueBard

I never did offload my old clix and I'm resisting buying any since the rule/figure changes.  I have a few uniques and LE's, a couple of the mail-away figures, one or two super-rares and plenty of REV of many different characters from various Marvel sets ranging from Infinity Gauntlet all the way up to Fantastic Forces.  (I have some Armor Wars figs, but didn't buy many of those.)  I also have quite a few DC and Indy figs.  I even have a Dark Phoenix.

These will all be retired collectibles not eligible for official tournament play, as far as I know.

If you're looking for anything in particular, I can part with it cheap (except DP, but willing to negotiate).  Maybe even just S&H costs, depending on what it is.  I don't have any of the newer figs from the most recent clix sets.  (No Marvel after Armor Wars, No DC after Legacy)

If you're interested, PM me and we can discuss further.  Otherwise, I'll probably just put up the good ones and hope they're worth something someday.  The rest will probably eventually get pitched.  I never found a good venue nearby and don't know anyone else around who plays, so I'm not getting any enjoyment from them.

Thanks BB, that's very generous of you!  Check your PMs.

Howdy Heroclix guys, I've got a rules question for you.  I hope someone can help me figure this out, as my friend and I played our first game Thursday, and it stumped us.  How do "Outwit" and "Perplex" work?  What the power card says is: "Once during your turn (but not during another action), as a free action this character may counter a power on a target opposing character.  Treat the target as if it does not have the countered power," etc.  The thing that gives us trouble is that "but not during another action" bit.  Does that mean that this character can't do this and attack?  Does this become the only thing that the character can do during the turn?  Ohh, and Free Actions don't count against your total actions, right?

Thanks guys!

Outwit and Perplex can be fired at any time, unless there's another power resolving.

For example, you can't fire Mind Control at an enemy figure, succeed, and then decide to Perplex the opponent's damage up for the ensuing attack against one of its comrades. If you want to up the damage, you need to do it BEFORE firing Mind Control.

Thanks guys, that makes MUCH more sense!
