Rikti Hunting, Thursday evening, 8/23/07, Heroside (updated)

The devs have turned the Invasion back on for this evening (and others)  .  Anybody want to form a dedicated team of Badge Ho's to switch to and fro between toons to get the accolade? The first two badges take (literally ) one all out brawl. The Bomb one is trickier, but a team of 6 or more can get it fairly quickly. This aint like Trick or Treating. There's plenty of  Action!!!! and adventure.

Note: Teams of various levels can group together without worry of SKing and what not. The Rikti con as Giant monsters, and thus are out of that "level loop." If you're a 12th level  Scrapper or a Level 40 Defender fighting Rikti in  SC , The bosses will con Orange, the LT's Yellow, and the  Minions white to the both of you.


Black 13 will be on about 8:00  PM EST. Ill be travelling from Zone to Zone until I gets me his accolade, and then Ill switch toons.

Since the Rikti Con to your level in whatever zone you're in, its open to any level. A bit of advice, though. If the invasion is in Founder's, I wouldn't send my lvl 6 in there to participate. The Mobs will get you  before the UXB's will.

Bump for tonight's raid. Ill be on starting about 8 EST, as Black Thirteen. Ill be following the raids until he gets his @#$@#$ psi defense and then moving  to another toon.

I have to go noshow on this.. WICKED storm pounding Chicago atm, and I'd rather not risk yet another computer death this year to a power surge that melts through a surge protector.

Black Thirteen and Krimson Blood kicked it old school.  Rikti got the beats when they showed themselves, but then they just hid.  So we settled for a session of AD&D.  Fortunately, Krimson still has his Unearthed Arcana.  One word:  Cavaliers...

a UPS on the last PC would have saved it.. I was only using a big surge protector. which won't save it from that freak occurence chance of death when the PS is unexpectedly powerless.

anyway, it was a wicked storm, and when I say wicked, I mean in less than 10 minutes, I saw at least 10-15 direct lightning strikes on my way home from work. The kind that are so close the thunder is slamming into you the same time you see the flash.

the cemetary by my place looks like a tornado hit there last night, a pile of those monster old oaks and maples were snapped in half :(
