Mario and Sonic @ the olympics

I know this game has been talked about/previewed for the longest time, but there's no thread here about it. So gangers, how do you feel about such a game? Me, I find it random and sorta stupid considering how different the sonic team is as compared to the mario team. Racing...for real? :D
