Changing the frontend graghics

Hi all,

Okay first of all I must say I'am a complete noob... ouch! got that out of the way, my question is this, I'm trying to change the frontend of :ff: and I have come across a problem that may be just a quick fix. I have located the dds files and altered them no problem, but how do I stop the main screen from rotating....basically I just want a static main screen like  :ff:, is the problem due to the nif file, if so does anybody have the skills to change it for me (I have'nt got a clue how to use NIF files). Any help would be much appreciated.

If I recall correctly you can copy the ff main sceen nif into the appropriate ffv3r directory and replace moving main screen with static.
Backup the nif you are replacing first, lest I am wrong.
