I'm a newb modder, so please don't laugh. My question is, should I be using FFX3.2.1 (By TaskmasterX) or just FFX 3.2? I mean, if I was to release the mod to the internet end-user, does it make a difference? Or will it royally screw up if I use 3.2.1 stuff and they don't have it? That being said, do most people have 3.2 or use Taskmaster 3.2.1 patch? Any help is greatly appreciated, I'm sorry if it is a dumb question. Thanks!!

Welcome to FF modding. :)

You can mod using whichever version of FFX you have. Generally, you want the newest version, just in case it has new features you (or your players) might want. But, one of the changes when DrMike2000 introduced FFX for FFvT3R was that the mod, and any mod that is based on it, installs to its own mod folder. So, basing your mod on 3.2.1 will not hurt anyone who has 3.2 (or 3.0, 3.1, or any future version) installed. Each is isolated from the others.

It should be noted that Taskmaster was a member of the 3.2 development team, so his version should be considered in every way official, and have been endorsed and accepted pretty much by the whole team in our little private Yahoo group.
