Who's a Skrull...and why?

Previsionary

so that means...PROTO IS A SKRULL! I always knew something was up with you...now the truth is out. The green, scaly, evil truth is out and you must pay!

...

right now, there's too many possibilities and this event is kinda blah to me...still. If I combine this with a certain issue of She-hulk (with the alternate universe) then...everyone could be a skrull spanning two universes! *kills them all*

Protomorph

Well, at least I'm not a clone. I don't think H.A.M.S.T.E.R. goes after Skrulls.

Of course, if I were, I wouldn't necessarally know about it. Y'know, with the whole brainwashing thing.

Let's just say these images don't make me want to rush out and find out what's going on.

Protomorph

Given the things that these 3 characters went through lately in their own titles, the only one that seems even possible is Hawkeye. They are trying to make paranoia and suspicion the rule of the day with this series.

Talavar

Yeah, Wolverine & Thor being skrulls makes very little sense given their solo books.  I mean, even assuming the skrulls are doing mind-implants so that the skrulls don't even know they're skrulls, both Wolverine & Thor have extremely long histories (hundreds/thousands of years!) that they clearly remember (both have had a lot of flashbacks lately).

it could just be new avengers wolverine who is the skrull...  validating the point that he is on so many teams...

BlueBard

Um, that first teaser image was a Skrully Hercules.  Didn't see Thor in there.

Either way, I'm not sure how a Skrull could possibly pose as either a Norse or Greek demigod.  At some point someone in those mythical pantheons would have figured it out by magical means.

But Marvel has demonstrated that a story doesn't have to make sense to publish, so who knows?

The Hitman

So this is how Marvel's bringing back Jean Grey? Come on.

Wow.  I saw Hercules, and I thought Hercules, but I wrote Thor.  Don't know what that was about.

djfredski

i think you all got it wrong.
Ironman is the skrull
.

I have serious doubts on that one.

cmdrkoenig67

Yeah...I think Iron Man/Tony Stark's been totally manipulated by them (the President is one, maybe even Miriam Sharpe)...I don't think he is a Skrull, though.

Jakew

I've going to throw Namorita in there as well ... the Skrulls have to be behind Civil War.

thanoson

Perhaps Mary Jane, Cable and Gambit? No reasons, just wanted to type those names.

The Hitman

I'm not really getting into this storyline, but here's a few predictions:

Strong Guy. I dunno, I just don't think he's been acting... right. Plus, someone in X- Factor has to be one, if for nothing else than to tie it into the series.

Luke Cage. His "I'm not a Skrull, and I'll argue with everyone, Skrull or Not" seems a bit suspicious.

Spider- Woman. Never thought her story sounded right.

Sentry. Same as above.

Henry Gyrich. It'd just make sense.

Jarvis. C'mon, he was attracted to Aunt May. Aunt May!

Wolverine. Hear me out- there's more than one. Either X-Men's (X-Force) or New Avengers is all Skrully.

Previsionary

I like some of your suggestions, Hitman (Jarvis could be one...but him being attracted to Aunt May isn't the reason I suspect him. They're about the same age, no? Doesn't matter...Aunt May moved on since she doesnt remember him probably...which...*stops*).

I don't know about Sentry though. I mean, he technically shouldn't even be active anymore considering WWH...I know for sure that WWH happens before secret invasion...so...dannit [sic] Marvel and your confusing timeline! You're too event happy and everything is literally running together. *throws a book*

Mr. Hamrick

i have reason to believe that my neighbor, soon to be former neighbor, across the way from me is a skrull

huh, what??

murs47

Teddy Altman's a Skrull, I can guarantee that. Just you watch and see. :P

Spring Heeled Jack

The adjective form of Kree is kreevian.

Other than that, I can't keep up with this conversation. Last I heard Cap was dead and Iron Man was a grade-A jerk. After that point, I'm lost.

There are too many gimmicky "events" and they all flow into one another. I quit buying comics when $2.50 was too much to pay for a regular issue. I'm sure as hell not going to pay for that on top of gap-filling one-shots and excessive crossovers. *Head spins*

But yeah. Kreevian.

Um......who else does this work for....um, I think the Super-skrull is a skrull?

Well that's just obvious. Geez get with the program :P

HumanTon

Pfft. That would be obvious.

I bet Super-skrull is a space phantom.

Jakew

Who was the bird who spat in Iron Man's face when her son died in Civil War? She was later on the SHIELD helicarrier at the end of the story?

Skrull.

cmdrkoenig67

Miriam Sharpe...And her dead son's name was Damien...Or something to that effect.

Looks like Marvel is in dire need of a raid by the Grammar Police . . . Whom do you trust.  Sigh.  Clearly Marvel has been heavily infiltrated by Skrulls with limited English proficiency.
