Acrobatics

Is the mez protection acrobatics provides worth it on squishies? I've had it for a very long time on Delta Raven, but she's still weak against stuns. Are holds so prevalent that I should keep it? Or would the slot be better spent on leadership or sommat.

Verfall

Acro only has mag 1 hold protection and no stun protection. It will only stop the holds from minions, and I'm not even sure if it works against all levels of minions. Trollers and such usually go 3 or higher in mag levels. With the advent of KB io's I see no use for acro outside of PVP.

Dump it and just carry BF's.

Good to know!  I was thinking about taking it on my Blaster at 22... now I won't waste the slot.

Well, it's not a complete waste. It still has massive KB protection, which can be a huge help. I can't count the number of times I died because I spent too much time getting knocked down and not enough time whittling my opponents down.

Blarg i have to agree with spud.

I take for squishies cuz i loath spending all that time getting knocked back.

Well, like Ver said, there's alternate ways to cover knockback protection now. My Fire/Fire tank never took Acrobatics because he splurged on two Steadfast Protection Knockback Protection IOs. There's very little in the way of common mobs that can get through mag 8 knockback protection. There's also an IO like this in Karma, a def set, and the 4th bonus in Kinetic Crash (KB set) is mag 3 kb protection.

I was mostly worried about holds because of the detoggle. My attacks kinda suck already. ;)

Verfall

One Karma for defense powers or Steadfast for resist powers KB IO will stop 99% of the KB in the game at zero end cost. Acro is obsolete unless, like I said, you're planning to PVP with that toon. Just drop one into Combat Jumping or Hover, or wait till you get your epic shields. The only things that can get past the IO's are things like Statesman's Knockout Blow and Nemesis and Ballista's force bolts, but they get past 3 of them on brute anyway, and are quite rare.
