Ideas for an orginal Speedster: Backdraft

So I have been making some newer lower tiered characters for my Infiniyverse such as Cameron Freeman: Agent of America and Zanshin (continuation of the shot) my Blind Archer.  However I have needed to rebuild my fire powered speedster Backdraft.  Long story short, he is a fire fighter whose latent powers kicked in when a fire storm sweep through a building he and his unit were trying to save, his body absorbed the entire fire, but Backdraft soon learned the energy he absorbed could be expended allowing him to travel a super-human speeds, only he must rechrage with heat, electricity, or fire.  I have scoped mesh and doctored keyframes using the Jay_Garrick_tvlite mesh and the Ghostbusters keys.  I was hoping for some interesting suggestions to make this character come to life.

My first thought is to give him battery powered - he can;t recharge his energy without absorbing it - I did this with a character in the Metal Storm mod and it is pretty cool.  You might want to make his pretty weak against cold (and maybe something else) to off set the huge advantage of all that xtra energy.

In addition to Battery Powered, you might give him a passive defense set to absorb with electricity, fire and maybe radiation, plus maybe a very weak low-cost ignite power to get started. For the electrical absorption, you might also add the Alternate Current attribute, it won't be available until the next FFX ships, but the code is available in the Scripting forum, IIRC.
