Whats their Powers?

i want to start this thread so if someone wants to know a certain characters powers/abilities/vulnerabilities/limitations ect. they can ask here and someone can answer their question.first question:whats the MAXX's powers/abilities?

It's worth noting that a similar topic is already stickied in the Hero Files forum. The "Character Research Resources - Useful links for HeroFile Creation" thread has links to good websites with information on comic characters.

well i didnt mean to cause any trouble and i wasnt refering to any hero files ,theres just charact. out there that i have no clue to their powers.other people like myself just dont keep track with all the new or old characters.i wasnt aware of a similar topic.please forgive.yes i was looking for opinions/answers to powers.still curious about the MAXX.

Hey all, maybe I missed part of the exchange earlier, but I wasn't criticizing the thread. I was just pointing out that there was a similar thread in the Hero Files forum so that people looking for this sort of info would know that was a good place to start. There is no reason not to discuss character powers, either what they are or opinions about them. If the thread turns out to be more appropriate for another forum, it can always be moved later.

yeah,i could have wiki'ed or googled which everywhere i went they never gave a powers description but whats the fun in that when i could come here and engage in "friendly" conversation with my ff buddies.as carr. would probably say" no problem mates!"

I guess the main problem here is your first post barely describes what type of interaction (and information) you want and it's so easy to misconstrue what someone wants if the post is more vague that a blanket of snow. There's several sources out there to "find" out what powers characters have, but if you want to actually discuss limits, uses, originality, and such in deep detail, then you should point that out in the leading post. At least, imo, that'd stop some of the problems that showed up here...or at least quell it for the most part.

I'll admit I jumped to conclusion that the conversation would centre around what those characters' powers would be inside the game.  Why post in this forum, otherwise?  Rather than all of us jumping to conclusions, how's about herodad1 gives us a bit more of an explanation of what he had in mind?

So HeroDad's aim was a little off, posting- wise. No biggie, guys.

Anyways, to answer your first inquery, The Maxx is, in short, a complicated character. Hmmm... how to put this easily and un- confusingly... OK, a Maxx is an animal representation of your "spirit protector" in your subconcious, or as the comic put it, your "Outback." In this particular case, a homeless man named Dave had gotten trapped halfway between a girl named Sarah's Outback and the real world, for reason too deep to discuss (So I serously suggest picking up the trade paperbacks, it's some of my favorite work). He is kind- of based on a Rabbit, which was the girl's spirit animal.

So, powers- wise, he's super- strong, can leap great distances, has two unbreakable claws attached to his hands, has a semi- psychic bond with the girl, and his powers fluxuate depending, basically, on the girl's mood. The teeth on his mask really work, and bite anything that comes too close. He's also amnisiatic, and uncontrollably shifts his conciousness between the Outback and the real world.

thanks hitman!i downloaded the character and didnt know what his powers were.i did look him up and came up with nothing.then i thought maybe other people may run into the same problem so i'd start a thread.its fun to read other peoples ideas.i came here looking for help.i may be gun-shy in the future but no hard feelings.didnt mean for things to go the way it did.   fading into silence..

You know it really would have been so much simpler if someone did as Hitman has done before hand, instead of trying to make the OP feel like a plank. This part of the forum gets so little postings these days, so any post is a good post.
