Why are my skoped pieces purple?

I finally started to play around with Nifskope and came up with the crazy idea to create King Thor's helm on Beyonder's Thor mesh. I thought that Magneto's helm resembled Thor's helm minus the wings so I got those off of  Ink's Magneto and the wings off of Tommy's Thor. So I put it all together and got this http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n301/captmorgan72/thorskope.jpg Of course the helmet and wings float about when Thor is moving too. Courtnall6's King Thor skin is so freaking awesome but it doesn't look complete without the King Thor helm. So my question is why are they purple and how do I keep the pieces to stay put?

The purple issue is usually caused by a missing texture.
If you skoped a piece form one mesh to another, you need to make sure that you also copy any relevant textures for the new piece into the skin folder.

The Character tool can also start displaying pink pieces when your video card starts running out of memory. If you know the textures are there, quitting the program and restarting can usually fix that.

Sorry for the off topic question, but what thor skin is that?
