Summary

Randy Ripoff, criminal mastermind and famous Sharkman ™ conservationist, has waged a long campaign to regain control of the forum previously known as "the Abattoir," a revolving-name forum which democratically elected Anomie Party candidate ow_tiobe_sb, a.k.a., The Phantom Bunburyist, handily won earlier this year.  At a recent Ripoff rally, some attendees were heard chanting a message that has been interpreted in various ways in the news media and by both the Ripoff and Bunburyist camps.

   ● Both the Ripoff campaign and the Faux News Channel have reported that rally attendees could be heard chanting "WE WANT RANDY!"--a message of clear support for the ruthless former dictator.  At least one amateur recording of the event, gathered by a self-identified Bunburyist supporter, seems to have captured those same attendees chanting "WE WANT RANDY TO GO POUND SAND!"

   ● Several television news outlets, including the BBC, CBS, NBC, and PDQ have reported that the chanters' message was "WE WANT CANDY!"--a message of clear support for the upcoming All Hallows Eve holiday.

   ● The Channel for Random Adult Zany Entertainment (CRAZ-E) has reported the chanters' message as "WE WANT RANDY TO DIP OUR VOTE IN TOFFEE AND OOH TREACLE FEELS GOOD ON MY BUNIONS!"--a message of clear support for the administration of horse tranquillisers to select human beings.

Verdict: Misleading, to say the least.  The notion that anyone might want Randy Ripoff to do anything but die a slow, horrible death in a freak day spa accident, much less the notion that anyone might "WANT RANDY" in *gag* that way, is preposterous and probably harmful to the ears and livers of small children.
