Introducing the "ghost" Anti-Unko.  I guess that since I finished him second, He'll be the second in command.  He's also got the beard thing going for him.

Lunarman

wow, that skins is amazing! Did you do nifskoping yourself?

Wonderful work :)

AfghanAnt

The Pwime

Thanks guys.

Yes, i did the nifskoping myself, but all I really did was hex a few pieces on and off, and enable LOTS of alpha channels.  Right now I'm trying to get the "ghost comet" thingy to look better.  It's hard to alpha out softly for some reason...

The Hitman

OK, I really, REALLY, REALLY like the ghost Anti- Unko! Great job. I'm gonna have to learn how to NifSkope.

UnkoMan

Holy smokes. He has that ghosty thing when he flies? That's pretty sweet.
I thought your highlights were a little bit too white on the "leader" Anti-Unko, but here they work perfectly.

Dude, I can't wait to get these guys into the rumble room.

The Pwime

I'm actually going to be re-releasing the leader, because I forgot to put the seams on his costume.

So if there's any other changes that you think would make it better...just let me know.

Xenolith

Man, all this great skinning and nifskoping going on.  Its a-mazing.  Nice job on Ghost-Unko.

The Pwime

Here we have a small tweak, the "classic" anti Unko.  This is the original look for the Commander, almost identical in many ways to the original Unkoman: bright costume, beard, and the same colours.  Eventually, he completely realizes that he's nothing more than a clone, and in an attempt to be "different" than Unkoman, he ditches the purple, grey, and green duds, shaves the beard, and switches to the dark blue and green costume (see the very first anti-unko).

I also tried to make the highlights less white for this one, and for my re-release of the original...what do you think, Unko (and others)?

EDIT: Okay...whoa...yeah, the highlights are DEFINITELY an improvement in my opinion...

*pukes while looking at old skin*

The Pwime

a newer design for The Nemesis, and it's also a new hexing/skinning wip.  just a kitbash right now, because I have lots of hexing questions before i can really get to the skinning.

-.-;

Lunarman

wow. The is awesome. I really must make a foe on that fire elemental mesh. You have a wonderful use of alpha, something I could never quite grasp.

The Pwime

If you're reffering to the Ghost Unko and some of my other skins, then thanks.   :D

If you're talking about the fire elemental villain...it's aaaalll irrational's work at the moment.    the only thing I've done is hexed it to be huge.

UnkoMan

Ahh... so that's what you did. I didn't even notice that it was all super big.
That's pretty darn cool. It's a sweet mesh. I've even been inclined to include it as an extra with a couple of skins, although I never bothered to do much more than recolour it.

I'm sure it'll be sweet looking when you get done with it.

The Pwime

well, right now all I've done is started working on a base of the sorts, using the original skin as a reference for what parts should be highlighted and what parts should be the shadows.  he's also even bigger now.

after that, I'm gonna Nemesis-it-up, re-do the alpha channels, make brand new "flames," and maybe add some "blotches" similar to the original skin.  We'll see.

And I'm "working" on the speedster anti-unko right now.  Basically, i just slapped a REALLY bright yellow-green gradient map on him, and covered the bottom of his boots in radioactive sludge.  I may do the same for his gloves.  Maybe even some pouring out his mouth?  i dunno.

The Pwime

SHOWDOWN!

yeah, I'm gonna alpha some "blotches" out of this guy all over the place.  And of course I have to re-make the flames as "molecules."  I want this guy to have an almost Wonderman-ish feel to him.

I also have to fix the red parts... they turned out as a solid colour in-game.

I also also have to finish and release the Anti-Unkos...

The Pwime

He just needs some minor tweaks and he's pretty much good to go.

Next up:  Fire Anti-Unko, and the most powerful of them all, the Dark Matter Anti-Unko

UnkoMan

Ahhh... I love this one! That is a fantastic colour scheme. You're so close to the end! I should probably finish my gumballs and try to get my avatar hexed up proper so I can release them in tangem.

Excited to play!

The Pwime

I think he needs some more mouth-ooze...

as for the others, i need to do that big not-so-ambitious hex and nifskope the particle emitters on.  then, I have to animate the textures for the Dark Matter version, and maybe the fire-guy, too. so yeah, i'll see if i can have those done by the end of this weekend.

The Pwime

it's not an Anti-Unko, sorry.

However, I did finish a skin and aside from the fact that the built-in glow completely does away with all the work I put into the red parts, I am still pretty pleased with the overall result.

UnkoMan

To be honest... the red parts actually look pretty cool like that.

But glow can be frustrating. If you ever have seen my Phantom Enmity skin? That skull has a glow that took for dang ever to get the right level. I still don't really like it. I wish glow could somehow tone itself down when the other light is brighter.

This is looking freaky and sweet though. Do you have a hero file for your avatar up too? If so, I should really download that.

The Pwime

haha, I don't really even know where to find the hero files I've made, much less add new ones.

however, i don't think it's REALLY necessary to have a hero file for Omega Pwime.  his powers are pretty dang generic... a standard melee, some telekinetic powers (i give him relatively high strength, flight, a "superpunch" that does more damage than the standard and a heck of a lot of knockback, and a active defense that blocks bullets), some energy-projection powers (gold-ish energy beams that do some pretty good damage, and an area attack in which he basically releases a lot of his energy in a bomb-like explosion), and if you really want, a minor healing factor to mimic how his energy repairs damaged parts of his body.  He should be able to take a decent amount of punishment before giving in, but he should also be vulnerable to other energy attacks.

of course, if I figure out where to look for the hero files, I'll release it and anyone who wants it can have fun trying to balance it...i like every character in my game to be really overpowered.

...Maybe I'll balance it out ahead of time.  :banghead:

AfghanAnt

I really love the way these are coming out. I can't wait to see them all.

The Pwime

w.i.p. of what the Omega Pwime looks like underneath his mask, when damaged to the point that he's in his energy-form.

I need to figure out if it's possible to make hex some vampire-like teeth into his mouth, since he's suppose to have fangs in this form.

As for the anti-unkos...I've changed my mind.  I'm not going to bother with figuring out the particle emitters for the last two, though I will use them on...a NEW one.  The fire Anti-Unko is going to wear mostly black, with his upside down U and his flesh being composed of (animated?) fire.  The Dark Matter is now going to have two forms: a "contained" form, with no particle emitters, but glowing cracks all over his "shell."  Then, let's say he takes a certain amount of damage in game, his shell will explode and NOW we have the version with the particle emitters, a glowing figure spewing powerful purple energy from his body.

The Fire and Contained skins should be done by next weekend, I'm hoping.  I'll release the Ghost, Fire, and Radioactive skins ASAP, and the Dark Matter Unkos will come in a 2-pack.

UnkoMan

Well that looks like a VX mesh... So you should be able to get some from Baron Blood or Morbius.
He is totally not what I expected though, let me tell you. Still, it's a pretty cool look... You know what would be awesome? Some crazy giant energy wings or something... Okay, maybe not. Still, looks cool. You try some very interesting things, and it really pays off.

I can't wait to see the finished Anti-Unkos, of course.

That's exactly what I wanted.

I actually think I'll describe how his energy works, right here:

basically, he usually looks like a normal human under the costume, just as the original, telekinetic-in-training Pwime was.  However, his seperation from Nemesis left him "scarred."  The black tatoos you see? Those are permanent.  However, if he's in a fight that definitely doesn't work out to his advantage (let's say he gets his flesh shredded by bullets, or someone breaks several of his necessary bones), the energy that he uses in his blasts, etc., goes to work in repairing his body.  His flesh is replaced with the glowing orange energy, and his bones are repaired in a similar manner, although they are black and appear solid, unlike his cloud-like exterior.

Eventually, human flesh will heal over in the energy's place, but as you can imagine, it takes quite a long time to do so, unless his normal healing process is accelerated by some means.

And here we have a skin that I was itching to do for a long time.  :P  It's done, unless i find a more suitable hair piece, or decide to try adding some "ripple" highlights.

UnkoMan

You know... you might try the hair from Tomato's version of you. It's not exact, but that's no biggie. And you know what would be sweet? Finding out how Rev did those popping out glowing symbols. That'd look great on this... And everything. It's just a really neat technique. Shoot, I've got to find out how he did that.

Man, it's always so odd seeing drawings I've done get skinned by other people. And so well!

The Pwime

UnkoMan

Oh... hmm... you know, I am not sure, now that you mention it.
