And yes, the random Doc Destiny heralds an mini-arc of villains... Fear them!!

Great news ... I was afraid the villains wouldn't get much Timmverse love. Fingers crossed for the full Justice League (only two left) and some baddies to smack around.

Any clues as to who the next baddie is you're working on, Rev?

juancho

Rev, i am in love with your latest skins, really impresive how you got the Timm style looking so clean and perfect
Diana looks like a pic from the JLU modelsheets
Doc destiny, actually scares the hell out of me
really awsome

Figure Fan

I love the new Timmverse skins, Rev! Doctor Destiny looks like something from FFvsTR. The style is phenominal!

I'm considering trying a Doctor Doom skin on that mesh in the near future.

The Hitman

Dag- gone, man! These are freakin' great!!! Great job the both of yous!!!

Just wondering REvenant, is it easier or harder to skin these timm style meshes? It seems like such a tangent from your previous style.

Jakew

I was going to request the Mahunters but I didn't want to pressure you guys. I'm knocked out. Nice work ReVol.

Is this release list correct:

released: Superman, Brainiac
in progess: Flash, Wonder Woman, Manhunter Robot, The Joker, Harley Quinn, Batman (with C6)?

Volsung

Manhunters are eclipsed!

the release list is correct.Except you forgot Doc destiny and Eclipso now (plus some other in progress).
C6 is quite overworked, he agreed to let Rev deal with the caped crusader.
Since I focus on my teamwork with Rev and other stuff,I guess I should give him Harley Quinn (And all her and joker's weaponery) to skin, otherwise she'll be delayed too much.
I'll practice texturing/skinning on something else later^^ (Such as the F Reborn mod?)

Yup, that's a lot of model in progress, but they really deserve Ackbar skills^^

Why doesn't your boy Ackbar sign up with Freedom Reborn, and post here sometime. I think he'd be a great addition to this forum!

Volsung

Nope! Never! He's mine!Do you hear me?! MINE!

Hey monkeyman, it is very much less time-consuming, because you work with limited colors and details.  For this style, nearly any mass you deal with has two tones - shadow and highlight.  In my other skins ,to achieve realism, i used many more shades of color... highlight, midtone, shadow, reflected light, etc..

For details, these character designs appear really streamlined compared to the designs you'd see in printed comics (especially hyper-real ones like The Ultimates, or mega-detailed stuff by guys like Ethan Van Scriver or George Perez...)  I think it was done to make them easier to animate for the TV series.  Also, the body doesn't show every single muscle so I don't have to slave over keeping the anatomy as accurate.

These are hands-down some of my favorite skins in my time playing this game and being apart of the community. I'm serious.

The style isn't far from something seen in a Jack Kirby book, and that's something I enjoy very much.

Also, are these available yet? I don't know where to look.

I'm not really a huge fan of the DC comicverse since following their history of characters is as complicated as trying to understand everything in the Marvelverse read backwards in a mirror. But I grew to love the DC Animated world as I watched the cartoons over the years and probably wanted to play more within that world as the official games just failed miserably. But I'm more then thrilled to see that the FF community is bringing the Timmverse to life with these meshes, skins, voice packs, and upcoming Mods.  :D

Great work guys and keep 'em coming.

Thanks to the Timmverse - I'm happy to be reading and gaming with DC again.

Though simplistic, these look amazingly good. AMAZINGLY.

Like cells come to life. Geez louize! Like everyone, I deep dig.

herodad1

hey volsung....do you plan on releasing all your meshes at one time?i think the atomic skull would be awsome.

Volsung

Atomic skull? Sure! Even if he's discreet in the tv show he's strong and got a good design.

We'd like to give accurate unique animations for every timmverse meshes (that's why they're still unreleased)

Revenant is a machine^^ that's not easy to follow him.
I can go faster than that, it's just that Timmverse is not my only actual 3d project.(in mind at least)
And i've got to prepare an eventual huge change in my life.
But little by little our methods are more effective.
And the more I create models, the more i can edit those to create new ones.Like a bank of mold^^

Yesterday Rev already sent me 3 skin base! to create models (and he got more in stock!)
That's exactly what I hoped. With such a cadance ,it's not naive to consider a mod.

but...
Accurate unique animation is way longer than texturing+meshing.
Ackbar won't be able to follow.Until he lowers the quality and focus only on some animations...
A tragedy^^
Maybe later, we'll consider objects ,vehicules and buildings. Those got no animations. So he can catch up with us.

(Ackbar already got the forum url,he can sign up anytime)
