Okay guys, this is a request for my DCU mod.

I've been working on hexing Robin from Tommy's Batman_bike_tv, and I've got him pretty well.  However, as you can see by the kitbashed skin, I need something to put on the mesh before I can include him in Grey's DCU.

Do you need the bike reskinned or just Robin?
If it's just Robin, I could give it a shot. Hopefully it will take less time than Poison Ivy did, heh.

Haha, well, I certainly didn't mind waiting for such a great skin, Unko.  Ideally I wouldn't mind having a red bike...but seeing as he generally rode just a regualr black/blue one in the TAS, it is certainly not a necessity.  I have a question for you, though.  Do you think that belt will look alright, or should I try and import one from another mesh?

Reallistically, the belt may look a little loose in the Ctool, but I don't think it will be noticed in the game.   But that's just my opinion.

As for Per Degaton, I switched him over to a new mesh, the key frames may need some editing, there's alot of extra animations that can be removed.   I used the Captain_Comet_tvlite as a base and just added the pieces from the Per_Degaton_tv mesh and gave him a new skin.   But my PC isn't strong enough to mess with the keyframes.

Wow, great work Flash!  I really love that sneering expression.  He's perfect, if I get some spare time, I may monkey with the KF's, but it'll have to be fairly low on my to-do list.

Yeah, like Flash said, nobody will really notice the belt ingame. He doesn't get off the motorbike, does he?

Also... I can certainly quickly change the colours of tommy's bike skin, but I don't know if I could pull of reskining the whole thing. Mechanical things just aren't my forte, and with my other workload... well...

Well, if you feel like it, it might be more like the comics for him to have a red bike, but it won't matter to me one way or the other ^_^

My plan is to (eventually) hex the rider off of the bike altogether, and use the hexed version as an object mesh for a vehicle/driver setup, with the regular version (with the KF's hexed to stay on the bike) serving as the two together.  It's going to take some more work on my part, but I SHOULD be able to do it.

Hey guys, I'm was building the Shadow Thief in, and I was trying to think of how to make him actually interesting as an enemy when it occured to me that I could use accidental change to make him turn back into just plain 'ol Carl Sands if he runs out of energy.  So, I'm wondering if there is a skin out there for a skinny guy with a black goatee in a black body suit.  This doesn't have to be perfect, I'd just like to make this as complete as possible.  I KNOW that something like this must exist, the question is where ^_^

For those skinners who have so kindly volunteered to help me, I've come across something for you.  I have been reading Alex Ross' Justice, and I really love how he portrayed the Cheeta.  It actually makes sense that she could be a threat to WW if she's empowered by dark gods. 

Well, guess who's turn it is to be built-in?  I'd like to see a skin of her in her more classic costume, maybe on a VX hex so we can use the brute_kf's.  She doesn't need the cheetas head, or the ill fitting costume, but the stiches and the lines on her face would be a nice touch.  Here is a shot of it:

Okay guys, one loose end, and then a few location questions.  First, the old business.  I'm still looking for a skin of Major Disaster, I know there is one out there someplace, I just don't know where. 

Second, I'm thinking (only thinking, so don't get too excited ^_^) about putting a version of the  Golden Age JSA in my DCU.  I know they've all be done, and done well, but I'm having trouble finding a few of them.  I've got The Atom, The Flash, Hourman, and Mr. Teriffic, but I need Dr. Midnite and Sandman.  Can anyone point me in the direction of (GA) versions of these guys?  Thanks!

:EDIT: Oookay, I've tracked down a Sandman hexed mesh of Kenn's that's pretty great, I'm just curious if there are any other skins out there for it.  I've also found C6's excellent version of Dr. Midnite, so consider him taken care of.

Are you telling me that you've forgotten about Psycho Pirate's Golden Age skins?  He had skinned pretty much the entire JSA, as well as a large amount of thier villians (if memory serves me correctly).  From what I saw, they were all pretty good quality skins (not to knock anybody, but some of the skins from the "early days" of FF content were a little on the rough side).  Unfortunately, his site went down a couple years ago, and from what I understand, he hasn't been around in even longer than that.  Whether anyone had downloaded what you're looking for, and is still around, would be the (sort of) easiest solution.  (I think)  :wacko:

Okay KS, I'll add the original Starman in, I think I've found a good mesh and skin for him.  Ha, you're deffinetly my first call when I need a skin, my friend!

Hmmmm....I was pretty sure the site was still operational at least part of the time you were active, back then.  Might have slipped under your radar.  My best guesses as to who might still have some of that stuff would be USAgent (he seems to have everything) or KennX.  You may want to consider a new thread just for that, to catch more attention to it.


fyi, JFoam made a Starman (with Cosmic Rod) mesh, available at Alex's.  I looked, but no original Sandman.  Two versions of Sand, though.  But if you surf through the rest of people's stuff there, you might find a character or two you'd forgotten about. (there's an Amazing Man and Tarantula, but I think they were just All Star Squadron, not specifically JSA)

EDIT:  *pokes BG*  ummmm.....KennX's section on Alex's has a Sandman and Sandy, as well as multiple versions of Starman, Hawkman (including the yellow mask of old), Johnny & his Thunderbolt, multiple Atom skins, etc.  I should have known.  :doh:

You do, of course, have a version of Bats, WW, GL, and Dr. Fate in that list, right?  Just checkin.  ;)

If you want, i can throw together a new purple/yellow version of the sandman.   It shouldn't be too hard to put together a new mesh with nifskope and a new skin.   As for some of the other characters, check out tommyboy's site, he's got quite a few meshes that can probably be used or easily converted to characters that you might need.   I could probably put together a Major Disaster as well if you could get some reference pics and if maybe kssaints wouldn't mind skinning it.

Thanks for the offer Flash, but I think that I'm all set on the JSA.  I do still need a Major Disaster, but I have an excellet hex for him, just not a skin of his classic look.  I am just sure that I've seen a skin like that before.  Still, if more time passes without anyone having a flash of insight about it, I might see if KS would be willing to take him on as well.  Ohh, by the way, what happened to that excellent Per Degaton you did for me? :)
