PVP Event #1 - Recluses Victory, Tuesday 2/13/06

Ok. Enough peeps seem to be interested in a FR PVP event. so, Here's the dealio on this one.

Im organizing an excursion into RV, for heros. When Char dings 40, you bet ill be there with him.

I figure to start around 8:00 EST, latecomers of course welcome.

Goals: AV badges, Arsewhuppin on Villians, and/or  taking out pillboxes.

I also know where all the exploration badges are.

We can run it until we get bored, ganked, or both.

Technically, this is PVP night #6 or 7, I believe.  The FR community used to have biweekly PVP nights, but lack of attendance eventually killed that.

I'll try my best to be there, but you East Coasters like to start things too early!

I think if we can try to stick to arena stuff at first we can at least get newcomers into it in a controlled environment.  The past attempts at zone PvP nights wont go well until the less practiced get some friendly time in.  I recall those less excited about the whole prospect get rather frustrated when they have to go up against the PvP freaks who are at it every night.

True, the Arena Night, which was #3 or 4, was quite popular.  #5 was that event with the heroes and villains trying to escort the robot -- that was great.

Please be patient with me, though, as it will be my first hardcore excursion into PvP play, and I've never been in RV before. It would be great to have some more vet players along.

Hopefully my CPU will be working better this evening, i was having trouble last night.  If so i can bring Camma, ooo or Khira and hunt the Atomic Snail.  Khira is only 48 tho, what level do you have to be to get into RV?

I made it on about 9:30 ish, and everyone was scattered to the 4 winds, so I worked with Saint toward his badges as well. Then I Dc'd. Then Gday Dc'd. Then I Dc'd again and watched reruns of Mash. Feh.

I work in a public school and we had snow days Wed and Thur.  This would've been nicer if I hadn't spent the majority of both days shoveling only to find out that the battery in my snow-buried car was dead as a doornail.

Even by my low, single-person standards; it was a pretty cruddy Valentine's Day.

Sorry the event didn't work out.  Hope the little ones feel better.
