OOG: Are those sliding bricks a red herring?

Gremlin

Do you still want to try something with them?  The walls are closing slowly...you could get a little under a minute to look at them, if you wanted.

konbiz

"Hold up me mateys!"

Shahzir tries to slide the bricks out, if that is unsuccessful then he will hit it with a fireball.

Gremlin

Shahzir:
The bricks do not move when you force them.  There's something blocking you from moving them as it stands, but you can't see it.  Like they're mortared in, but it's invisible or something.
Glitch Girl

oog: Okay, I'm a little lost after this weekend's action.  Which door got blasted and where are the majority of us right now?

konbiz

OOG: The door which we came through has been blasted, the other one was a fake. As for where everyone is, I'd probably say the majority are back in the room with the strange creatures, whilst I was trying to get those bricks loose. Now, I'll probably join you guys since I couldn't get them loose.

BentonGrey

"This way," the prince ground out, sprinting back through the now gapping door.  "I'll try the door on the right, you try the one on the left," he said to Anya, gesturing across the room to the the other heavy door.  (assuming the gas has disipated)

Glitch Girl

Anya nods, holds her breath just in case, and checks the other door.

Gremlin

Dakkon and Anya:
The doors are locked
BentonGrey

"Well, we can force our way through, but we should decide which door will take us where we want to go," Dakkon said, turning back to the group.  "Any suggestions?" he asked.

konbiz

"Well laddos we could try the keys that Anya has"

Shahzir rubs his beard as if he's in deep thought.

"An' if the lass's keys don't work, then I guess it be back to the skeletons"

Reepicheep

"Perchance we would be successful if we were to try each key on only one door? We need waste no time by guessing - work instead with a system."

If none of the keys work and we are forced to fight the skeletons, Orloid will be ready to cast turn undead and heal his companions, otherwise he will follow.

Glitch Girl

I try the keys, but make sure there aren't more traps or surprises first.

Which door will you try first?  The D is the one you came through originally, the T is the one that is now effectively a wall, the Ls are locked doors and the P is the one that Anya tried to unlock earlier.  The = are the creature cells inside the room.

Panther_Gunn

Things having quieted down a bit, Og will look over the cells, pointing & oohing & ahhing at the strange things contained therin.  ;)

Glitch Girl

Examine the door in the upper right.

Gremlin

Anya:
As you pass by the door with the putty-lke substance in the lock, you start to feel a little woozy.  You press onwards to the other door.  You grip the handle and pull.  It's locked.  A poke around it reveals it's a lot thicker than the other doors, but you're not sure why.
Glitch Girl

OOG: I hope you guys aren't waiting for me to do something, 'cause I've been waiting to see what everyone else is doing.

BentonGrey

OOC:  Sorry guys, I've been pretty busy with work lately.  I suppose that Dakkon will suggest that we try the keys in that door.

Lord Elcorion

OOG:having similar issues with work and such.. it should settle down before much longer.

konbiz

"Tha's it mateys! I cannae just stay 'ere and wait for the danger to come to us".

Shahzir moves the bookcase from the door in which we entered the room.

"I'm gonna bring the danger to them!"

Shahzir gets ready to open the door and start blasting the skeletons with fireballs.

konbiz

Shahzir swings the door open and casts a fireball.

OOG: I'm really saddened that this game has slowed down to a halt, hopefully we can get it moving again, although we need something new to happen to get things going again.

Glitch Girl

What exactly are the sketons doing and how are they positioned?

BentonGrey

OOC:  We have the keys, I don't see why we don't just go through one of the other doors.

Gremlin

OOC: Sorry for the lag, we went into closing weekend on my show, and it was much with the hectic.  I'm still in if you are!

Shahzir tears open the door and yells several arcane words.  There's an explosion in the stairwell, and bits of debris and ash get kicked up.

Shahzir:
You cannot see the skeletons, but after your spell is cast, you hear their familiar clunking steps.
Suddenly, several of the bars on the cages simply cease to exist.  A good half-dozen large dogs with flames sprouting from their heads start roaring and run towards the rest of you.

Glitch Girl

"Oh boy...."

I look at the door I was examining earlier (the one on the upper right).  "This one's reinforced for some reason," I quickly say to everyone, "Considering whoever owns this place seems to want to kill us, I have no idea what may be behind it."

I brandish the keys.  "Quick, yes or no," I ask the others.

"Uh-oh, bad doggies!"  Depending on the closeness of the four-legged flame-throwers, Og will either 'deploy the chains' or bash the closest one on the nose with his closed fist.  Either way, it should be a bad day for the dogs!  ;)

BentonGrey

"Anywhere's better than here!" Dakkon shouts as he leaps at the nearest dog, weapon leading.

Glitch Girl

Key.

Unlock.

Duck.

(or Dodge, or whatever works best. In short, I unlock the door and hopefully avoid any nastiness that may come out immediately. If there's something behind the door that is worse than out here, I slam it back fast.)

Lord Elcorion

flaming dogs, meet eldritch energy. blasting away at anything i can get a shot at and trying to keep away from the dogs, prferably by putting Og between myself and them. ((i seem to have forgotten to add my invocations to my notes. i got my books back the other day though so i have the correct versions of stuff now.))
