Howdy guys, I posted a topic at the KMC forums about the Aqua Foes taking on the Flash's Rogues, and I just had to try it out in the Rumble Room.  Here are the results:

The Aqua Foes took every fight, but they were all VERY close, and for some reason Grodd's mental damage attack didn't work properly. Even despite that, he really caused havoc among them. Here's some pics:

Heat Wave and Weather Wizard did the most damage to the Foes, but Mirror Master probably gave them the biggest headaches with his duplicates. On the Aqua side, Ocean Master and the Shark were probably MVPs. The Shark kept the Rogues paniced whenever they got close to them, and Orm just blasted away at them with magic.

You know what would be fun?  What if we started our own VS. game here?  We could use the Screen Shot Thread, or start another.  We could take turns suggesting interesting matches, and either the suggester, or an impartial third party could run the matches in FF and take pics!

I think that's a great idea, by the way. We could come up with a week of 'theme fights'.

Let's say "X-men vs Teen Titans" is a theme and people could post the pictures of whatever X-men and Teen Titans character-related battles they want. How about a Femme Fatale week, where it's deadly chicks fighting each other. Or Animal Week, where they all have to be animal-related. An "Ultimate" week, where you can use only Ultimate version of characters. Or favorite obscure villain week. The list goes on and on!

It's also a great way to see what other people have and what you are missing.   ;)

KMC = Suckage. I was a member once but the mods have become lazy  and look out for them selves. One mod has so many rules and says not changing etc. Suckage.

Great ideas LP!  Let's start a new thread about it, and see if we can't get some of the other members interested.

Yeah man, it does sort of suck.  People pretty much only want to talk about the biggest characters, even though everything has almost entirely been said.  I would record the fights, but I don't have any software that can do that.  Plus, because of FF's AI, fights aren't always incredibly exciting to watch all the way through.

The fights couldn't involve too many characters either...  how many times have you fired up a JLA vs Avengers and had Black Widow, Hawkeye, Green Arrow and Batman get crushed in 3 seconds because Green Lantern and Iron Man decided to launch their big guns from the get go?  It is too much to keep track of and try to 'photograph' all at once.

That said, I think that's a superb idea - might be a lot of fun.

I don't know about making it a game, so much, as just suggesting a theme for the week, and anyone interested can post pics of their version.  Depending on how loose we are about themes, we would get to see quite a variety of character match-ups, as well as different skins & meshes of those characters.  The choosing of themes would have to have some sort of control, either by poll every week, or picked randomly from a list of suggestions.  I think it would be too chaotic to try & have the "first" suggestion of the week be the theme, and wouldn't be representative enough.  I might even load up all of those maps that have been gathering dust on the hd, uninstalled, since the FF reload (when bat thugs start shooting beams from the bats when they swing them, something's gotten hosed), just for this.

This fight was very cool and very long. Sentry was really doing a lot of damage to both Herc and Thor.
