Mouse doesn't register a character?

This is for  :ffvstr:

Certain custom characters that I've created, and can see, won't register when I slide my mouse over them.

It doesn't matter if I'm using them as a hero or if they are a villain in the Rumble Room, I can't seem to click on them. However, my other characters DO interact with them and everything. When I use those characters as my heroes, I can click on their portrait icon, and all the options are there. It's just on the map, I can't click on them directly.

Has this problem occurred before? Could it be a conversion thing, even though the character seem totally fine except for that flaw?

Or am I the only one up the creek with no paddle? Ha.

I've seen it before and it comes from the char having no bounding box I think. Check using nifskope to see if they have one and if they don't I guess you could add one from another mesh.

yes, there are bounding boxes and selection boxes.  both can be easily fixed with nifskope.  i know some meshes that have trouble like this are Mystique_Ink and others...  let me know which characters exactly and i might be able to help you out.

I have Mystique_Ink but haven't used her yet. I'm sure it's not clickable either since I received it from the GammaPatrol files site.

The only other meshes that have not been clickable were Chimera from USAgent's Yahoo Groups and Beyonder's Rhino.

I just downloaded nifskope the other day, but I am a complete moron when it comes to using it.

USAgent

Yes, those two meshes dont have bounding boxes, I had to add a bounding box to each of those meshes using NifScope myself. Its  a very simple process to use, check out the Hex editing forums for nif scope tutorials.   Adding a bounding box is as simple as copy and pasteing

Thanks! I just did it for Chimera and it worked perfectly. Now off to do it for Mystique and Rhino.
