Amazing Screw-On Head: Animated

I picked up the DVD today.  As much as I love Mignola's comics, none of his animated/live action films have excited me.  This is much more true to the Mignola look, but is very short and probably something I wouldn't watch more than once or twice in my life. Rent it if you see it, but I wouldn't spend the money on owning it unless you get it cheap.

NBC had in on their web tv thing a while back and I watched it their and posted about it here.  It was very strange but somehow fascinating.  I think the overall impression here was a good one, but I guess it never got picked up as a full series.

I think it aired on Sci-Fi channel before that.  It was on at some weird hour and I only heard about it after the fact.  Managed to find it on their web site though.  Was a very odd, very fun watch.  But wasn't it only one episode?  Is that enough to warrent a DVD or is there more there?

They had some contest to see what would get picked up, Screw-On-Head, or some nonsense....guess what didn't win? :(  I really enjoyed it.  I don't think I'd buy it, since it wasn't really a full length movie or anything, but if it ever did get picked up, I'd DEFFINETLY watch the show.

I agree, I would watch the show. I thought it would have made a great series.
