IN-credible ultimate Captain Marvel!!!!  Also, the prospect of seeing a new Super Skrull rocks hard as well.  Good work, AA!

So here is Phyla-Vell in all of her costumes to date. They were done on an alpha-enabled skoped mesh that allows you to scroll through them easily. Also her sword only pops up during certain animations and only for the Quasar II skins. I made her Captain Marvel look more purple than blue to to distinguish from her brother. Also I went with a different shape for her bands to play up the difference between her bands on the actual nega-bands

Blkcasanova247

Awesome skins as usual AA. I guess I only have one critque...it's the hair or lack there of on the non Quasar versions. Her head looks kinda....."pointy"...she has kind of a "chopped" boycut in just about every image I've seen of her post Quasar. For example

If it were me I'd probably skope on the "Nia" wig from any of the VX female meshes...I think that'd do it. ;)

I actually thought about adding some additional hair but the skope file size is kinda large. Maybe I'll go back and add hair but I probably wont use VX because the mapping on the female hairstyles drive me nuts.

EDIT:

I added Ink's Ultimate Jean Grey hair and I think it captured the effect I was going for.

I'm out of adjectives for your recent batch of skins.

Awesome, simply awesome stuff. And now I can knock Phyla off my update and skinning lists. I was a big fan of David's Captain Marvel run and it's great to have all these skins.

Still you're missing Mar-Vell's other son.

Also a note on Phyla's hair, the style when she debuted was like Blkcasanova247 posted (it is also the only time she turned blue in the comics). Afterwards she always had the slicked back look depicted in AA's first pic, until her new hair style as Quasar.

I preferred the spikey look (that's what my skins used) but the slicked back look would be more accurate for her Annihilation costume. But I agree the skinned on hair made the head look too pointy. If you were to go that route it'd be better to find a meshed hair part.

I just downloaded and checked out your newest skins AA and I love how you done the alpha'd meshes. Its a great method and I think I should start looking into doing that where possible.

I'm really liking your facework, each character looks distinct.

USAgent

These are all a wonderful batch of skins, not only that but you put togather some perfect scopes for each one of them. And making them alpha enabled all in one mesh was a fantastic idea. (much easier in the hard drive).  Usually i like to pick one version of a character and make a hero file for them, but I will be making multiple version with this last batch of skins you did.

Great work!

Thanks. I really think it is the way to go for most characters with lots of costumes. It allows you the chance to play as the character in whatever costume you like without having to redo the hero files.

just wanted to pop in here and say that while all of the recent releases, as everybody has said, are awesome...Holy Cow, the Phyla-Vell skopes are above and beyond the call of duty.

i NEVER thought anybody would do her, let alone with the hood AND sword. dude, that is flat-out AWESOME that you did that.

AA any plan on doing Mar-Vell son gen with the jacket his first costume?

Yes, I plan on doing Genis in his Legacy costume but I'm really on a Skrull roll right now.

Well here classic Super-Skrull in all his fantastic glory:

For those of you who are probably going to ask, yes I'm going to do the New Super-Skrull and Xavin, the Super-Skrull in training. I also plan on doing Power-Skrull (Amazing underrated character with a lot of neat details).

Well SS stretches like Mr Fantastic, has an invisible leg (based on some amazing trade card by Jusko for Marvel Masterpiece), fx fiery hand for Human Torch, and grows large Thing fist. Some animations are buggy (during dodges a few piece float he is solid other than that).

vamp

Pretty awesome (and by that I mean awe inspiring).

I don't know if it is just for the pic, but I think you should maybe alpha enable the leg and put a low opacity clear of it. Then again when do i ever know what i am talking about   ;)

Podmark

Nice work Ant. Is that Fusion's Superskrull mesh?
Can't wait for Xavin.

herodad1

thanks for giving us another classic villian!

miguelyanke

^¬^ohh!!! i love 'lil Xavin!!!! ^_^
Esperando impacientemente XD

the_ultimate_evil

looks superb, though i would say if you added a slight alpha to the leg it would just kick it up a notch, also there is something about the face i can't put my finger on, it's just something

The leg is alpha-enabled. It could be because the leg is light colored and was on the white background that it does not appear to be.

Same as above about the leg. I actually should highlight the face a little more and I changed the lining around the skullcap.

Well this is the most recent addition to my Marvel obession, Ultimate Captain Marvel. He took me forever and my fingers hurt from doing all the detail with a mouse but I'm extremely happy he came out so well. This is actually my third attempt at this costume. Also it comes with a skope that generates green lighting effects when he attacks. I'm thinking about doing Ultimate Vision but that would be another labor of love skin and I don't think my hand could take that right now.

Super-Skrulls are coming. I'm committed to doing Super-Skrull, Power-Skrull, and, Xavin, and the new Super Skrull. These are being put on my list after I finish up some Marvels. Next on the list is Noh-Varr.

Sweet! I loved Ultimate Captain Mar-Vel! Might have to run and reread that graft novel. :P

awesome skins AA but why did you choose to make her costume purple instead of navyblue/darkteal like the source artwork? honestly the purple doesn't appeal to me. otherwise, i would have no complaint. the entire set is incredible

I went with purplish blue to show some difference between Phyla and Genis and it just sort of happened and I thought it looked good.

Thanks everyone!

Well you guys are extremely familiar with my avatar Afghan Ant but recently I've been feeling like he doesn't really reflect me so much as he's grown into his own character so I skinned myself:

Basically I thought I would photoskin the face but I than thought "nah I'll just do him in the same vein as my other skins". It is very interesting how you lap mesh over each other and alpha certain part and still have the over-all mesh looking normal.

Anyway, one is essentially what I look like currently and the other is how I looked in college for a while (I tried to do the mohawk a few months ago again and it didn't feel the same).  I know no one would have an interest in using them in-game (I guess I would curse and yell at Magneto or Dr Doom?) but it would be neat to see people skin themselves.
